I am sure I will make it to cap.

But I am more worried about the scores of people applying for various Other NOC categories.
I hope this "reducing balance" message should reach everybody who is applying for FSW. They should plan accordingly as the # 1000 cap in CIC can highly misleading many aspirants..

Everybody should have a crack at the Cherry. I hope it would happen and this message would flow..

instead of think 1000 cap for each NOC, think 1000 is CAP for Hot NOCs(IT,finance etc) . since other NOCs have comparitively less demand they may or may not reach 1000. Some NOCs might just fill 100 applications

You would have asked persistently.
I have not come across this before so I really dont know what to advice.

For FSW the fee is 550 each for the PA and each dependant of 22 years and above as well as those less than 22 years but married. Other depeandants less than 22years and single is 150 each. It is stated clearly on the fee form.

Yes, the place MIGHT also makes difference to the outcome. People might ignore it, but its the fact.

1) Living expense you can fund yourself with based on the region.

2) No one would like a concentration of immigrants just in Toronto or Calgary if Canada is such a huge place..

Vancouver BC is a good choice.

Ok so that has been frozen now(2173 ) is what I go with. Last question. Form Imm0008 Q12a Occupation: Should I write the name of the NOC followed by number. Similarly 12b name of NOC to which job roles are matching and ignore my designation.

You should write NOC number followed by NOC category name
Btw, you cannot fill the entire NOC name since the field has limited characters.
Since you chosen 2173, under experience sections fill 2173 all the way and mention your designations in each company..
I know designation and job responsibilities may vary, but still you need to write designation..
And then there is vague and stupid section about job responsibilities on the extreme right which cannot hold more than 25 characters(So, what to write?)..
Well just write some words..
Anyways, your job responisibilities letter will be referred by case officer,
12(a) and 12(b) are like high level view only..

fsw processing fee is 550 (this is due now when you send your application)

PR fee is 490 ( this is payable after your LVO have reviewed your application and approved a PR visa for you which is at a later stage.)

Personally, I don't think the region choice might influence the outcome of any application.
However, it's true that a careful choice of destination may facilitate the landing process (finding 1st job, standards of living...)

Both my Mother's and Father;s name is not matching with Passport and my birth certificate
But my consultant said should be an issue as per their experince
But in my case its just one letter is missing in their same. like Instead XXDHAXX it is XXDAXX in Birth Certificate and should be XXKKXX but there is only one K in BC

From France it will go to a city in US, then another city near US border then Ontario n then Sydney. It will take 2 working days to reach Border city of US, 1 day to Ontario and 1/2 to Sydney. Keep on pushing FedEx guys.

Hey Guys!!

I am not sure is this Bad luck or what but after going through the time line taken by DHL I used Fedex from Delhi on 8th May. I dont know what they did that my package reached Mumbai and kept lying there till 13th May when i saw no movement through the tracking number on their website. I called up Fedex n they said the courier agent you used has not yet given us the package!! I asked them then how come i have the fedex tracking number? to which they said that agents can generate it themselves. Anyhow I spoke to the agent n when he took the action my packaged finally moved from Mumbai on 13th and now it will be reaching NS on 20th May. Following is the current status of my package as yet: No I am not sure what Route it is taking to reach Canada, Mumbai> Dubai> France....

Anyone got any idea on this Route ?? Also, any idea if I will make it in the CAP for 1112, if my application reach by 20th?? Please do reply !!

Spelling mistake should not be that big an issue, but try to get new birth certificate issued based on spelling as per passport. Try to provide any additional document which proves the spellings

I am also stuck in the similar case... my surname on passport is left blank.. but i read in help section on CIC website that if your surname is left blank then write your full name under surname and write not applicable under given name... PLS COMMENT.!
