Please help me guys as i have submitted 3 times but no response

Hi, if your application is accepted and they need to verify your reference, they'll ask you to supply another if the original one can't be reached. So no worries, you are on your way to the top. See you there. :)

Anyone has send their application tru DHL and the current location right now is "Arrived at Sort Facility EAST MIDLANDS - UK"
Maybe some got the same timeline with my application going to CIO..

Happy waiting

I have a question regarding Sched-3 Section 12b, should the main duties in this section match the job description from the company letter, do I only need to copy and paste or the main duties are summary of JD's?

Thanks.

well, right now, you cannot do anything, since your application has been already sent. so firstly, relax.
secondly, if the reference letter was written on the company memorandum, you should be fine. if they cannot find that particular person, if they really need to check your background, they will find another person to confirm you've worked there. you should not be stressing about that, since if the imm officer at your LO decides she/he needs more of you background check, she/he will contact you to provide more references or documents.
good luck!

dude you should count your HSC under high school category and in Canada all education between primary and college/uni is counted under high school category. your univ/college should be between 3 - 4 years depending what degree your studied.

Thank you farhaantariq. +1 for you.

My Bachelor's degree is 4 yrs duration. where should I place my Master's duration (1.5 yr)? is it under Univ/college option or post secondary school?

Please Clarify this. i am bit confuse!!!

2nd one as I got more experience (3+ year) here.

But just asked the question because if both can be added I will be able to get the score 13 (4 yr) instead of 11 (3 yr).

I used to work in a well known organization as a human resource manager (NOC 0112). I was there for 13 months.
Afterward I joined in a private university as a lecturer (NOC 4011) and serving here for 3+ years.
Can I claim for 4 year experience adding two both occupation as I got 1+ year experience in both. And there is no condition given which says I have to in in single occupation. Can I mention two noc.
Help!..

Ofcourse you can, provided they are either Skill level O, A or B in the NOC list 2011.

Thanks, but I have also read about "substituted evaluation", which is stated as follow:
"Through this discretionary authority, a visa officer, after concluding that an applicant is likely to succeed economically in Canada, may admit the applicant regardless of the fact that the applicant received less than the required 67 point threshold currently in place. This is commonly referred to as exercising positive substituted evaluation."

What is this about ?

Substituted evaluation is when a visa officer exercises discretion to depart somewhat from the exact rules of the process. It can be positive or negative, meaning that applicants who might not otherwise qualify can be accepted regardless (positive) or applicants who do qualify can be rejected regardless (negative).

Substituted evaluation is rare and the officer must have a solid reason for doing a substituted evaluation. There is a process for it. If memory serves, a second officer or maybe a supervisor must back them up, but I don't remember the exact details.

My opinion: There is no harm in applying, but substituted evaluation is rare and is not something to hang your hat on. If you are willing to kiss your application fee goodbye and have your application retained on file with CIC to possibly be checked against future applications, go ahead. Just go into it with your eyes open.

Hello People

Just a Query: Checklist point 13

Proof of Education
To receive points for your education. you must provide proof that you have completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program OR submit an original ECA repoit along with proof of the foreign educational credential(s) for which you are claiming points.

So Do we have to send CIC another copy of the transcripts/marksheets/Certificates that we sent to WES?

not a problem at all.
i really don't remember about the cover letter - if there is no template on their website, i wrote one on my own. i did everything through phone/email/snail mail with them from my country (serbia). i did go to police dept here in my hometown to take fingerprints, on the form the FBI sent me through snail mail. however, snail mail wasn't that bad -aproxm 20 days. the fee was $18, i paid by the CC

You're lucky. My US PCC took 6 weeks. The web site says 22 days but I called to check on mine and they said "I know what our web site says, but the processing time is 6 weeks." Gee, thanks.

Don't worry about sending additional material, just make sure the fingerprint card is very clear and send in all the documents and make sure the payment will go through.
