Hi
I require little assistance on this:

My application package was received by CIO on 7th May. I am changing my job in next 2 weeks. Should I inform CIC about it now or wait to receive PER and send details about new Job to local visa office?

Hi As per my understanding NO, because hey count your experience until the date of your application was signed by you.

Application received today by cic..... Signed by Mike had sent it on 6th may thru DHL

which is your intended NOC?

2nd one as I got more experience (3+ year) here.

But just asked the question because if both can be added I will be able to get the score 13 (4 yr) instead of 11 (3 yr).

hi

Is it advisable to have my wife's passport re-issued with new name before we start the process as she'll be the primary applicant.

She currently has her passport in maiden name.

Please suggest..

Hello!

Could anybody clarify :

(a) If the notarised documents are not dated, will it affect negatively?

(b) My birth certificate (as a spouse, not a principal applicant) contains my name four times in that certificate, because, it is issued in the form "Date of Birth, Community & Nativity". My name, when it appears for first time on the certificate is properly worded. However, in the later part, 2 character spelling mistakes in the rest of 3 places"".. Will it affect the application.

Thanks in advance.

my opinion (take others' opinions on this too, please):
1.) if your original copies, that are being translated and are attached to the translated copies, have a date on it, and the translated copies do have a necessary affidavit required by the CIC as well as the seal of an official notary, i think you should be fine.
2.) since you are not a principal applicant, it should not affect your application
best!

(a) Notarised copies are not non-English papers. They are something like educational marksheets, certificates, employment promotion certificates..

(b) ok.

not a problem at all.
i really don't remember about the cover letter - if there is no template on their website, i wrote one on my own. i did everything through phone/email/snail mail with them from my country (serbia). i did go to police dept here in my hometown to take fingerprints, on the form the FBI sent me through snail mail. however, snail mail wasn't that bad -aproxm 20 days. the fee was $18, i paid by the CC

What should I write in the cover letter?: Purpose of getting verification? anything else? Also, in the past 10 years I was in USA for 8 years and spend 2 years in India. Do I need to obtain PCC from Indian as well? If yes, any India on getting pcc from India?
