Yes, you can If his name is first account holder. Otherwise he is eligible for 50% amount in the particular account.

Had it been only his account you could have shown.u better transfer the money to ur account and make a bank certificate.

Both of you have a valid point. But I also have a UCI number, that means they already have my info (with split name) in their system? So, is it possible that submitting name in different format could cause issue?
Any way to contact CIC to confirm this officially? Don't want to get screwed over because of this small oversight on my part.

Not sure Paaji, as achiever suggested, you should take the safe route as is suggested in the guide. The reason I did not write a "N/A" is because the form did not allow me to validate without a last name...My guess is either ways it should be OK if you already have a canadian visa.

I stand by my point so I would suggest to follow passport.
You know it sending email will take months to get reply. If you really wanna call CIC here is the number - 001 613 944 4000
But remember you need to wait around 30 min to get an agent on the call, that too with ISD call ???

In IMM008 Generic Application form, I realised that if we select "Skilled worker" in question no 2, we cannot answer no. 7 (Have you received your Certificat de Selection?).
And if we select as "Quebec Selected Skilled Worker" in no 2, the options in no 7 enables.
So, I think we dont need to answer question no 7.
What u guys say ?

i have applied to nova scotia RMLD on 18th march 2014 but i havent received any acknowledgement or any sort of communication how do i answer this question as i havent been refused but i have applied to a pnp

Harry bro, any idea about joint account with parents? Should I ask the bank to remove the second account holder (if possible) or will it be acceptable since I'm the primary account holder? Similar question for Fixed deposit.

I understand that balance certificate only contains name of primary account holder? It is the statements that I'm worried about, I think it would contain name of all account holders?
