Hi shah2014,
you can check the FSW 2013 statistics for the closest estimates we currently have:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE#gid=50

White means the application is not even in transit yet, it has not been sent yet.

By the way, there are so many applications without any date specified at all.. I'm not sure if we should allow entering empty Application Sent date in the form. I thought about making it a required field, but for now I'm not sure, I wanted to get feedback from everyone first. If anyone has any strong preferences about that, feel free to tell.

Thank yo for your effort....

I believe this year 2014, CIC will process applications even faster and we should hear from them very soon 2 weeks from now ...as last year they had to get ride of the backlog from the previous years...what do you think?

i recently got my India PCC
but my USA PCC is from last year ( Aug 2013 ) should i include it in my application !!!!

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

Hi all,

I've been preparing my documents and reading on this forum thread quite closely. All my documents are ready to be posted. Here is the scenario: I am already in Canada, pursuing my Ph.D. I want to apply via FSW 2014, but just use my Bachelor's degree from home (just as if I was outside Canada). In other terms, I'm not using my Ph.D. education. I don't think there is any issues regarding that, right? Please let me know.

Thanks for answers.

P.S. Look at my username just as a joke, with a good sense of humor. Forgive it... I just found it funny and chose it. Not to be insulting any one of honorable members of this forum.

I'm not sure we can count on that. Judging by recent statistics from FSW 2013 spreadsheet (for the past few months) it still takes about 25 days to encash the fee (which is a first indication of activity from them) - and that was when there were far less applications, before FSW 2014 has started.

I've posted a useful chart which demonstrates this, you can see it here:

great chart... so the formula is that the more applications the have the more they take time... makes sense....

by the way I was looking at the rejection tab of 2013 spreadsheet and read all reasons for rejections and I'm depressed now LOL

# of applications for each intake are not relevant for processing of first few apps (300, assuming specific person check specific NOC) in this case. More important is the backlog.

Kindly share, google doc address for 2014 sheet as my access to tinyurl is block and have to use VPN to view these (only have it on mobile), will try to judge percentage of applicants on this forum
for each NOC

Kindly add a column for LAWYER/CONSULTANT hired (Yes/No). I dont think many such ppl are here and they must be big number. Then there r Chinese applicants and i think Pinoy applicants are using seperate thread.

Btw any idea, is there any other popular forum or canadavisa is the only one. Secondly, does this thread/sheet cover all the applicants using canadavisa forums or some are missing.

Just went through the spread sheet, Admin good job, its very detailed and informative.

Any idea, this spread sheet represents how much of total applicants

If we assume, 10% or more than none of the NOC has reached the cap, yet.

But if its less than 10% than 2174 and 1112 might have been filled. Other may still be open.

Btw regarding color coding, i got light brown and green, but what WHITE ones represent?

hi friend, how many people registered for 1112 right now, cannot open the spreadsheet here. thanks

Doesn't matter INCLUDE, and after submission try to get another one.

if your application is processed before August you wont have to submit (nor it will be delayed because of non-submital) if it is processed afterwards you will have another1 ready.

Nice effort, as expected its its an upward slopping graph, which proves my point that for initial few applications increase in intake wont matter. The outliers cud b due to operational issues/payment method defferential CC vs DD.

Going by last yrs trend, around 20% applicants use this forum, which is encouraging sign for those who have there applications in transit (even for HOT NOC's) i.e. using last yr trend even HOT NOC's such as 2174 & 1112 are around half filled ONLY.
