Currently india do not have National Identity Document.
So write N/A in form.

It is written in the document checklist that copies of work experience letters need to b one sent with the packet. Has everybody done the same thing?

Indian Applicants do not require to fill the field -National Identity Document.

So keep that field blank on generic form...

Mate donot leave field blank. If its not available that write N/A.

You may not send it with the application if its not ready but be rest assured that you will be asked at later stage.

I applied under NOC 2132 in FSW category in 2013 but my application package was returned due to cap filled.
I want to inquire do i need to fill all the forms again or i can resend the same package and only print those forms in which there are some changes e.g i have traveled in last year so i need to mention that

Hello All,

I am happy to be back again since my application returned last year because of cap filling.

I had thought of not applying again but felt tempted after seeing the new occupation list last week. Trying again this year as I have WES and IELTS ready.

Can anybody suggest that if I can include my PF balance and gold value (which we posses) in the proof of funds ?

Yes. You can contact the Politi of Sweden. The information will be provided on the Police website (I hope so).
I had a similar case. I studied in Norway. And I emailed the politi office and they send me the PCC. But, it took a long time (nearly 6 weeks) to reach me.
But you can submit the application without PCC now. instead submit them later to VO.

So finally CIC declared new opening from 1st May -2014.

I have created this thread for helping each other --could be anything-form filling up,POF queries,mental support etc .

Since this year 50 category will be open having a max cap of 1000, so this will bring more opportunity to be a successful applicant for an period.

how long it will take them to check ?
they will email me if my application is rejected ?

what should i expect if i am accepted an email, or call or what ?

i did not send a police certificate with the application, but now i got it . can i sent it and mention my name now or should i wait ?

No if you select as No the text boxes become greyed out. And you do not want to write N/A by a pen on Main Application form for which bar codes are also generated. So leaving it blank is the desired option.

Police certificates

"All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

Before submitting your application to the CIO, you should:
