IELTS needs to be valid (taken in the last 2 years) on the date our application reaches CIC!

Guys!! I have a few questions below please respond

1) my brother is in Canada as a PR. I want to claim the 5 points for adaptability.
I am unable to get a hold of my and his birth certificate. On our secondary school certificate though, we both have our date of birth mentioned and our father's names as well. Would that suffice?

2) I gave my IELTS on 08 December 2012 - are my scores still valid?

Go with conservative 21 for your own calculations. If you get 22 points in CIC review, you will be on safer side. I know for master's degree it is 23 points.. and Ph.D 24 points.

It is mentioned that for Masters or professional degree ... 23 points

I searched about rejection reasons in that topic and found that the two most main rejection reasons are:
1. Job responsibilities do not match the NOC code applied for.
2. Missing signature on forms.

Plz reply frnds...

It may be fine if your application is treated before the expiry date.....but how will you be sure your application will be treated before the july date when you have not (it seems to me) even sent your application as of today?....No guarantee.
Unless you want to take a gamble by sending it.....and start preparation to write another another one just incase its not treated.
My advice....if you havnt sent your application as of today....my guess is that there are other factors that are delaying it.It will be better for you to sort the factors out and patiently take another test before sending your application.
I'm sure you may still be able to register for another exam end of this month or early June.
Please take your time....trust me,you put a lot of pressure on yourself if you use the IELTS that will expire by July as you wont be sure of what happen.

Hello Everyone,

People have also been rejected because their credit cards didnt go through. Failure to write down how much your salary was on the job letter ( which has my reason for rejection the first time)

I am sorry but I am not misguiding any1 here I suggested its solely upto him to accept my suggestion or not
because by the time his application might come on the processing table his ielts score might expire
last time I sent my application in july and it reached on the processing table around sept when the cap filled though
so ur application received doesn't mean it starts processing straight away
keeping that in mind I suggested I have no intentions whatsoever to misguide any1

1. Yes secondary certificates showing father's name are enough to prove the relation.
2. Regarding IELTS here is what Document checklist says: "Language test results must not be older than two years upon date of receipt at CIO". Hope you can do the calculation now
