I also applied and they require secondary school certificates directly from board. I submitted my docs to BiSE to send directly to wes 1.5 months ago but not received yet by wes.
I also done icma.
I don't know how long it will take.

Thanx for your reply.

it will take too much time to get my docs attested from bise sukkur. its difficult to convince them (BISE sukkur) to send directly to WES. Convincing BISE sukkur mean simply forgetting the immigration process. i m wondering why they require it from me if they havent demanded from you. BTW can you pls let me know what equivalency they awarded to you (ICMA) and did u apply recently (2014) to WES or last year?

i Have three choices and will suggest your input:

1. either dont send them anything relating to secondary school /higher school (bcoz they have asked me to send them rather mentioning that it need to sent by issuing authority (BISE sukkur); or
2. send them attested by notary public only
3. Send them without attestation; only photocopy

i filled the forms by the end of provided space, and then printed out addition page with the rest of the info. i guess this is the way it should be done, since otherwise, your forms will not be completely filled. additional page is "additional", not "an original form". this is my opinion!

Thanks for your comments .

I've made charts from the previous year spreadsheet data, and some of them are rather interesting.
Here's the relationship between the date when the application was received by the CIO and time it took for the CIO to encash the fee (which is a first real visible activity from the CIO):

Fee_encashed_chart_copy.png

As you see, the time to encash the fee raises quickly with number of applications, especially in the first few days. Applicants whose applications were received on the first two days, May 4 - May 5 2013, got their fee encashed in 40-50 days. Then the time rose to about 55-80 days for 1st month applicants. On the peak the time was about 90 days, which is 3 times longer than in the fastest cases.

This year there were some applicants who prepared beforehand, so it's probably possible the processing time will rise even faster than last year, unless CIC has optimized the process or has increased number of their officers working on the applications.

Good job! CIC invested over 14 million dollars for next 2 years. I hope they have optimized their process with experience from last year. I wish to see better chart for this year. :)

Done.

By the way, those who can't update their info because they haven't saved the "Edit your response" link after form submission, can re-submit their info again, to save the link now - this way you'll be able to edit the info later by yourself.
It will probably be easier both for applicants and for admins this way.
Just please notify me or another admin when you do so, explaining which of the entries is older, so that we remove your older entry from the spreadsheet.
The link to the form is in my signature below.

Thank you :)
Here's one more, a relationship between date when the application was received and days it took for the CIO to transfer the file to a local visa office.
The horizontal axis was supposed to be dates, like on the previous image, but Google Spreadsheet does not allow to show dates there easily, so I hope this chart didn't lose its value because of that :) The vertical gridlines approximately correspond to months.

how many more days to go?

Hello everyone,

I am in dilemma regarding Academic Records Request From. I am submitting my Bachelor's transcript from India, WES shows 2 options

1. Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations

2.You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar's Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES.

my question is that when I m submitting myself by option 2, should I include Academic Records Request Form, because that form states
(Part B of the form states following statement-Sign and seal the envelope across the back flap and send it directly to World Education Services) Authorized Official should send sign and send directly to WES.

Thanks
