May I know how many of you are applying for the nursing category and have you completed ECA?

What do you think guys? I think they will start processing FSW 2013 soon since there are no changes last year... Last year, it took 2 months for them to start processing the May applicants.

I have couple of questions, please reply:

1. What is the equivalence of BSc (3 yrs Regular) from India in Canada, How many points can we count?

2. Do Canada accepts Master degree done through DLP/correspondence or Open university? if yes what is the equivalence of MCA (3 yrs) in Canada?

Have applied for the ECA but was guessing about the point. Help would be appreciated!

you don't have to request for a new one. just convert it in cad and write it down on the application sheet.

Yes, you need to provide proof of funds for your family of four even though they are not accompanying you.

Cic told, u ve to show fund for all dependant, 'even they r not travelling'. I am also in ur situation, but shown fund to all. Once they they issue visa u r eligible to sponser them. So they want u to ve fund in advance.

Highly recommended to apply with in your NOC as your documentation on work experience will be without any fault. One small mistake is all it takes for huge disappointment.

my query is :

Is it necessary to apply in my current occuptaion.
eg : for first 1.8 years i worked in 2172 and next 4.2 years in 2174. can i apply in 2172?

They have not issued a single Medical to FSW13 applicant...

My file is on Singapore and they replied that my file is waiting for a final review upon the query of my file on last April 14.

This is the my first post. This is for the applicants from USA. I think the visa office has been changed to CPC-O from CPP-O. Please check the below lin k:

I'm assuming in the Generic application form we should mention CPC-O.

From the US, are we sending our applications to Nova Scotia and not Ottawa?

How do we calculate the score to points for FSW 2014?
