Guys please help!!!!

I need your inputs on this,

Last year I applied in FSW and my application was returned due to cap reached. In last year Generic application form, they have mentioned the UCI number with pencil. But in the explanation letter of returning the application, they have not mentioned that UCI number.

SO this time do I need to write that UCI number? Please suggest.

Yes write the UIC number mentioned on the old generic form from the last year returned package on the current Generic form

Hi

Glad to join this forum.

I am applying for FSW under NOC 0112 Human resource managers. Have cleared IELTS but WES is pending.

Sending it quickly though. But little afraid about the capping as how much time it would take to fill the quota, if WES report is received by 20th may 2014.

any help will be highly appreciated.

I m too for the 0112 category... not much people in this category... i am too in the process of getting the transcripts and hopeful to send ECA docs to Wes within next week.... Good thing is not much in rush in this category... would suggest you to update your details in the spreadsheet

Hi Friends, May be I'm repeating the questions already asked in this forum. Please redirect me to the topic if that is answered already.My question is :
I'm planning to get the reference letter from one of my colleague from previous company since the company is not helping me to get a reference letter with duties and responsibilities as CIC is expecting. So I'm planning for both of the letters mentioned below.

1. Do i have to get the reference letter from a colleague done in a stamp paper (In that case what is amount of stamp paper in India) notarized ? or It has to be in a plain paper describing duties and responsibilities, hours, salary etc. with their contact details and business card

2. Also do I have to submit a affidavit or statuary declaration in a stamp paper stating the above reference letter is true (In that case what is amount of stamp paper in India) notarized?

I'm sure your source of information isn't genuine.
I can authoritatively confirm to you that many FSW2013 applicants(that finished on 30th April) not only got invitation for medicals ......some of them have even landed in Canada already after been successfully completing the whole stage.
Your source may be referring to some visa issuing location centers and offices who are slow and not yet call for medicals.
If that is what you meant ........you may be right.
Please ask clearly what your source meant or where he/she got the information he gave you.

My understanding from CIC guidelines is as long as your occupation is in Skill 0, A, B you will be getting points for those occupation. Only thing is your primary occupation (NOC you are applying) with which you are eligible should be a minimum one full year full time or part time equivalent... Please read the guidelines once carefully you will understand. I'm on the same track as you... All the best...

hello friends,,, i need an urgent suggestion :-X for filling IMM generic forms in EDUCATION/OCCUPATION DETAILS COLUMN what I need to fill coz I worked in a company as finance assistant from 2004 till 2007 so I am planning to apply under NOC1112 but after than I mean from 2008- till date I am working as Data or management specialist which is nowhere near finance role so in current occupation what I suppose to write my current job designation or one that I am using to apply i.e one for which I have experience certificate and one I am intended to nominate. and what about intended occupation is it my actual designation or one which is on NOC2011 relevant to my jobduties plz advice ASAP,,thanks everyone.

Current Occupation is what are you doing now i.e. data or management specialist or whatever is your occupation;

For intended occupation it is Financial Analyst NOC 1112.

If you have one year of experience in the last 10 years out of any 50 eligible occupations, you are eligible to apply regardless what is your current occupation.

You will first get a sms in your mobile of your CC charge if used a CC, then PER email.
You will directly get PER email in case of DD.

Generally how long does it take for the PER mail to come from the date the docs are received

I'm new to my current job, I don't plan to make a claim for this as my previous experience will be enough. But I'm also planning to send my contract and company letter for my current position. Do you think it's okay to send the company letter without the Job Duties as I am not claiming for it?

If the current occupation is not your intended occupation, to me, it should not be a problem at all. They are only care againt what you do against intended occupation.

I see there is a requirement to send original TRF of IELTS. What happens if we need to use the same result for another country, such as Australia ? Because I see the test center doesn't gives more than one copy of TRS.

There are many on this forum who do an excellent job in guiding potential applicants and directing them on how to correctly file an application. You guys are wonderful and thank you for what you do! I am truly disappointed to say that there are some bad people on this forum, too, who did the opposite. Back in March and early parts of April, many people came and inquired on the various Canadavisa forums whether FSW will be open this year. Some convincingly said that it wouldn't (I don't remember their handle names - I wish I did). Their answers misled me, resulting in me not organizing myself or collecting the numerous paperwork that are needed to successfully file an application. When the government finally did announce that there was going to be FSW on April 23rd, it stressed me out to the maximum and collecting all the documents took me more time than it should have. I am sure there must be others on these forums who, too, must be upset at those who misled them. Shame on you guys who misled us! You all know who you are.

Tommy, what you wrote is what I also had in the bottom of my heart; the feelings u expressed. Those guys who misled others were, surprisingly, experts, and confidently did so with their "I know it all" atittude. What amazes me is that the same guys are now helping others on how to fill out the app forms for this year. They are far from being apologetic. In fact, if u charge them they can simply walk away by saying "hey we do not represent cic". I decided not to let them decide for me. So, before they could say to me that they were not from cic, I said it to myself. I said " hey, I dont know them and they are not from cic." As a result their tips caused no delay to my preparation.
