Hi jayeshaminnew. I would really request you to please not answer any questions that you are not sure about and give advices to people to get back their packages.

Secondly it is clearly mentioned on CIC that app received on or after may 1st. Pls cite any evidence of what you have mentioned

I too agree to what you said... Its not the date when you send its the date they received.... Which is on or after 1st May... Its perfect till the time file reached CIC on or after 1st May canadian time... :) so not to worry friend... :)

Well you need to ask this to bank staff only as they are aware of how much validity they has for bank draft.

Education and Experience are evaluated seperately by CIC.
If your job duties matches with your eligible NOC and you have atleast one year of experience in the last 10 years in that eligible NOC, you can go ahead filing your application.
@Rawdah.... Thank You Very Much Rawdah.... Thnaks A Lot For Your Reply.

Someone please clarify..

1) Obtaining ECA
I have Masters Degree in Singapore which is related to the occupation. I am planning to apply for education assessment for Canada migration. Is it sufficient if I just submit my Master Degree for the assessment without including my Bachelor Degree? Is it enough to claim point for the education?

2) If the limit is reached
Will my money go wasted or they keep my file on hold or will I get a refund?

Yes, your money will be refunded if your application gets there after the cap is reached. My Canadian Dollar draft was returned together with my application last year after the cap was reached. You can repurchase your draft at your bank. If you are using your credit card, it won't be charged.

Should the salary mentioned in job experience letter be in CAD (Canadian $)?

Not necessary. Your local currency is okay!

Did you check here: mcc dot ca/repository/medical-credentials/
Note: i am not allowed to post web links.

I don't understand medicals but found Medical degree or Diploma there.

Thanks for replying. I also saw that but the problem is that on the main page of the ECA for FSWP http://mcc.ca/repository/educational-credential-assessment/ it says that
"Note – The MCC will only produce an ECA report for the medical degree diploma. If candidates wish to have other degrees recognized for the purpose of applying to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, they should visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for more information."

So the confusion about specialty certificate ECA for FSWP continues :(

Here's my 2 cents:

1. You can send your masters and bachelors for eca, but I think to be on the safe side it's the masters.
2. If limit reached, a refusal letter will be given and the money will be returned. ( and I don't want that to happen to you so better prepare everything and see you in canada)

1) Problem with getting my bachelors evaluated
Well, my university back in India wouldn't send the transcripts directly to WES. Also it would involve a lot legwork, getting the documents first attested by Registrar, which seems to take almost a month. Not really convenient for me as I do not reside in India any more. On the other hand, Lancaster University, where I have my MSc degree from, has a straightforward process, taking much lesser time to have my degree documents sent to WES directly. I just have to make a request to them online.

Another point is that my chosen code is closely related to MSc than my Bachelors degree. However, I'm not sure what the idea behind getting ECA is - a) To get all of your degrees evaluated or just the highest/closely related ones ??

Anyway I came across this link on CIC website where they have detailed the process out. And somewhere down you will notice they have given this example

If Deng studied outside of Canada and obtained a foreign educational credential at the Master’s level
Then he would submit proof of his completed foreign educational credential and an original ECA report indicating that it is equivalent to a completed Canadian educational credential at the Master’s level or lower.

Check this www[dot]cic[dot]gc[dot]ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC[dot]asp

Still confused though...

2) Are you 100% sure? Since Jayesh Amin replied I would never get a refund :(

3) I'm in Dubai, UAE and there is no visa processing offices here. Does that mean I can apply to Morocco since it takes just 3 months to process, have a look here.. www[dot]cic[dot]gc[dot]ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed[dot]asp
