I am a computer vision researcher and my job duty can be considered either of the 2 NOC codes: (2173-software engineer, 2174-computer programmer). Last year I applied under 2174 and the cap limit became full (my application didn't go through). I am applying again this year with a similar employment letter. Now I feel that I fit more to software engineer (2173). Can I apply under different NOC code for the same job this year? Isn't this generate kind of uncertainty and doubt about my whole application? Please advise. Thanks

I have a quick query. Please reply ASAP.

My paternal aunt lives in Canada what docs I need to prove relationship.
Her passport
Proof of address
Birth certificate

And my father birth certificate.

Problem is when my aunt applied for visa she didn't mention my father's name on her background declaration form because my father was died.

Is this makes any difference? Will they check her background declaration form or just her passport and birth certificate.
On both birth certificates they have common mother not father.

I dont think so, it can easily be possible that you may feel fit to a different designation when the give you options. So dont worry about it. go ahead

Ur PP name and the PP number+ Date of Birth....

Dear bro,

U can do as per below:

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

And for any NOC u can assume atleast ---one month

Thanks for ur reply... Really I'm worried, by next week only im going to send papers for WES. It will take a month time and I can able to submit visa application only on first or second week of June. Worried whether the cap will be reached at that time.

Its upto u ...if u already have 67 score then u may avoid that...

And for IELTS ---its mandatory to submit original during app submission...

My suggestion is --if u have similar duties of 2174 , then u may go for 2174....as u already applied for that...

But its not a problem as long as an applicant has the job duties of a sprecific NOC(regrardless of the prev application's NOC)...

Just my opinion, they will check the birth cert for each of urs....

So u may not be tensed...i can say ---try for it....U will not impatced.....

yes you can apply if the duties mentioned for 2281 are matching..
