Dear Ashif bhai,

I'm working as an Assistant Professor at Dhaka university for last 6 years. This time I'm interested to apply for FSW 2014. Since for last 4 or 5 years my category was absent, I didn't have my ECA ready with me more over I have a good score in IELTS (academic) so I will also have to sit for General test. I've send my documents to WES and will sit for IELTS on May 17th. Hopefully be May 30 I will get my ielts score and education assessment done.

My question is: will it be too late for me to submit my application on the very first week of June? According to your experience when the cap for my profession could be filled up?

I dont think this is major issue. Just make sure friend specify the given name in form as it is in passport.additionally he can attach explanation about his name being different in bank accounts.

Hi, Im a computer engineer with a bachelors degree and was too late to apply last year. This year it seems that the categpry 2147 is not an eligible occupation. Could I apply under 2281? or do I over qualify?

Thats wont be a problem. I dont think that your any NOC's Cap will be filled out in First month.

Dear Brother,

As long as the work experience of 2281 matches with ur job details ...u can apply. In this case i will suggest u to include 20% job duty of the NOC 2147 on ur ref letter that u do on ur job. Rest of the duties may include for 2281.

Finally, u can apply for 2281...

Only if duties you perform matches duties on HRSDC website under NOC 2281. If it matches then go ahead. If it doesn't matches then there will be chances of rejection.

I had to provided the sweden travel information in supplementary travel information form as you have to mention all your travels in this form.

Hi Seniors / Ashif,

I have few queries, pls advice:

1) Is there any specific format for Bank Certificate? I have it as "To whom so ever it may concern" and then the details in INR & total valuation in CAD.

2)How valuation for PPF, EPF, Stocks & Mutual Funds statement will be shown in CAD as there will not be any Bank Certificate for these products just the statement showing INR valuation.

3) When NOC 1112 is expected to be capped for 2014 FSW? Any estimation as per 2013 timeline. Could be a silly question. But, I am running late due to WES and Reference letter from employers, thus anxious.

4) Is it ok if current & previous employers provide reference letter with all required details but without job duties. In this case I will be submitting an affidavit or any other option as per advice from seniors

Thanks for the reply Brother. Just have another question. All the job titles that I have are mentioned as engineer. I dont have the title technican mentioned anywhere. Will this make a difference? If I am still accepted in this category does it mean that I can only apply for jobs in Canada as a technican and not engineer?
