Hi ALl,

Do you think it is safe to submit the application today? I am assuming they will not update the forms posted in the website anymore?

TIA

It's so annoying to wait for the forms to get update. Any news on this
Just fill the forms and despatch your case ASAP.

They will not change the forms.

Regarding birth certificate, I have the translation duly attested by affidavit. So as per my understanding I must send :

1. Original translation? Or copy of that?
2. Attested copy of the original certificate (in non-English language)
3. If the translation was done more than 6 months ago, it is still valid?

Also, my birth certificate does not state my name, and has only my father's name mentioned as parent. Should I send affidavit with my name and both parents names as a supporting document?

If any one are planning to make CIC Fee payment in DD from India, and not yet applied for the DD will have to wait till Monday to get it in Hand. Since today is Government Holiday(Labor Day) , Tomorrow banking holiday, Saturday no Forex transaction & sunday holiday. You will be able to get it on Monday only.

I have the same issue. I was right there at the bank for the DD yesterday. But nowhere on the payment form it said DD should be payable "IN CANADA". Even bank told me to cross-check about it as sometimes for visa, etc. the payment is in the name of some Canadian authority e.g. "Canadian High Commission" but payable in India.

:'(

And cancellation of foreign currency DD will take at least one day in most banks as they have centralised branch location for this. So I decided not to take the risk and wait till Monday. Hopefully by then we will be assured of new (if any) FSW application forms as well.

Hence I asked whether Thomas Cook, etc. can issue DD and is that recommended? They may be able to do on Saturday as well.

Just curious...which bank did you approach?

I have done Bsc & MCA from Gujarat University. I need to apply for ECA through WES.

(1a) In International Transcript Form, there is a field of MAJORS (IN ENGLISH). I have done MCA but there is no mention of Computers as majors in the degree. Can i leave this field blank?

(1b) In International Transcript Form, should i just mention University Name (i.e. Gujarat University) in the INSTITUTE NAME field or do i need to mention College name as well?

(2) I have also done Part Time PG Diploma in MBA from European University. Is it mandatory to have the evaluation done through WES (because even if I perform evaluation, it doesn't increase my educational points)?

(3) Is the transcript from the College valid, because my University doesn't provide transcript. If yes, then does the College need to fill the International transcript form?

(4) Do i need to include Transcript (College Prepared), Transcript Request Form, University attested Marksheets & University attested Degree Convocation Certificate in the sealed cover containing University stamp?

(5) Do i need to include 2 separate sealed covers ( i.e. BSc & MCA respectively) in the courier document along with a covering letter detailing the attachments?

(6) Should i go for a normal mail / international courier delivery? How long does it take for the delivery via Normal mail?

(7) Should i do the transaction through Credit Card or through Cheque? How long does it take for the Cheque from Canadian bank to realize?

Hi,

I am an Indian working in Brunei for 2+ years. I have already taken PCC from Indian Embassy in Brunei. Is that all I need or any other PCC is required?

Hi everyone,

I applied last year, but didn't make it. They give me UCI but the writing is realy unclear, can I just skip the UCI in my application, or it's better to write an explanation letter with the copy of their writing?

Take care

Just try to figure out what number they have written. If not successful then explain it in your covering letter and attach a photocopy of it.
