Hi Guys, for those in the IT, are you also having second thoughts what job title will you use? Because in my work, my current job level is Manager but my role is not formally named or documented. I can be called "Developer", "Senior Developer" or "Senior Developer Programmer"... In this case, is it ok to use any of this and just be accurate with the job duties? Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,

As, I submitted my original copy to QSW program last year in 2013, if I can submit a notarized copy of my IELTS TRF for FSW program. Please someone clarify. I contacted, British Council to issue me a duplicate copy. But, they rejected my request saying they issue only one original copy. Also, could you please share with me the format of employment reference letters. As, I need them due to my previous employer not willing to issue me the same on his letter head. I decided to get it from my colleagues. So, Please advise me in which format I should get it them. I appreciate your kind responses to my post. Thanks.

I have that letter and I shall enclose the notarized copy of the same.

Bulk of my savings are invested in Stocks and Mutual Funds. For POF, can I show a certificate from the Brokerage house showing current value of stocks and Mutual Funds

My Company signature on the letter is not in English, it's on my native language. It's next to the my manager signature which is written with pen next to his name.

Can it be a problem because the signature of the company is not in English?

How long should the fund be present in the account ?
Till I get the case number or till I get the visa ?

My daughter was born recently and we could not make her passport within 20 days (the process is very complicated in my country). Would you suggest us send adults' materials first and then submit the baby's, or wait until her passport ready? Looking forward to your reply.

Would like to seek your advise..

1) When I submit the application, I'll be applying as a single. Since the processing will take 28 months, should my status change into married, will I have to update my status in the application? Will my spouse follow my status should I be granted the PR?

2) Under education, do we have to submit both of the bachelor and master degree to WES for assessment? Could it be only the latest degree?

How about the below option:
1. Send birth certificate and fee for dependent child.
2. Mention in cover letter that passport is applied but not yet received. Attach passport application receipt as well.

As my application got returned last time, I am getting extra cautious by clearing doubts in my mind.
Hope you understand that.

I have a couple of more queries;

1) My sister is Canadian citizen and I am claiming 5 points for the same.

As per the CIC guidelines for blood relative, we need to provide documents showing common parents like BC.

However, on BC of my sister I noticed that no surname is mentioned, only her Name is mentioned.

a) In such case, do I go for affidavit saying her full name with surname and father's name ?

b) As her name got changed post marriage, can I provide marriage certificate in such case ?

2) Is it mandatory to provide copies of work contracts and pay slips?

As my work contracts do not specifies the roles and responsibilities.

However, I have experience letter from my company on letter head.

1. Include that BC + her PP+ marriage Cert. i guess this + as u told about affidavit (for better proof).
2. For the work relevant docs please try to follow:

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).
