Guys I have a question on reference letter, Do I need reference letter on Company letterhead with stamp and signature(original) or company letterhead with digital signature?

Is it mandatory to get stamp and signature on reference letter?

Dear seniors,

I have a problem with my reference letters. I worked in a holding structure in different companies on different positions, but during the time I left the holding was restructured and 2 companies where I worked were liquidated, so I cannot have any legal documents from where. The problem is that there is a sufficient experience there.

But I steel can have a reference from the holding company CEO and he can describe my work experience at that companies. I also have and employment record.

Should I explain this 2 companies situation to CIC? Should I apply employment record?

What is my best course of actions?

Educational Credential Assessment

Hi Guys, I will also be applying under the FSW 2014 program. I have a question. I had my first in Canada but left after I couldn't find a job under the Skill types A, 0 or B. I did my masters in the UK and now back in my home country where I have attained a year plus experience under NOC 1112.

I am worried that if I send in my masters degree for evaluation, that my occupation might fill up before I get my assessment result. Do you think I should include just my York U degree or both and not add any evaluation for my masters degree? Or not mention my masters degree at all?

If the job responsibility of 2281 also matches with ur job then try to highlight them on the reference letter ..also mention few of the job responsibility of 2147 if those are included on ur job...

Thanks. CIC website says the rules for 2014 are same as 2013 so the application forms might not change. Only criteria might be application form should be received on or after May1st, otherwise it will be considered a 2013 application.
I guess it will be better to wait, then being sorry.

But if anyone can add more information on this it will be helpful. If any one of you are sending the applications do let me know, because there are few people who prepared applications for provinces like NS already, and this FSWP is similar to that except a different application form. So if everything is ready guess it will be better to send it out.

Then its up to u...But chances of changes of forms are very high... so better to wait...

Hi

In order to calculate points against age, whether the completed year of age is considered or something else. I am completing 38 years on 10th May and entering into 39th year from 11th May onwards, which age band will be considered.

if u submit within 10th May 14 then u will be awarded with 9 poinnt and for later date u will get 8 point..

quick question I already applied previously in 2013 and I did not make it (CAP reached) so shall I tick on YES on question 6d in Schedule A background?
declaration ?? or shall I mention that anywhere?

I have also received a UCI number when the application was returned shall I type it in or leave it blank? (I am applying under different NOC)

I want to apply for 2174 and select Paris as the Visa Processing Centre. But, My Visa is valid until 31 Oct 2014. It will be extended before 31st Oct 2014 for next one year but now, I dont have nay proof like Visa will be extended.

So, I am not sure which Visa Processing Centre to Select Paris or New Delhi (as I am citizen of India).

Can anybody suggest which Visa processing centre to select.

Better to select (if u have that eligiblity ) New delhi since they are very fast now...

Paris VO is less speedy right now which is imp for u...

Reg: Validity of IELTS (Urgent)

I wrote IELTS in June 2012 and keen on applying in FSW 2014 opening on May 1. Will there be an issue in terms of validity of my IELTS report. What date would they consider good for accepting my application/ IELTS.

Pls let me know ASAP.

If ur application reaches to CIC within IELTS validity date (even with a single day validity)..then it will be okay

Are you sure on this ? below is the exact question

"Identify, from the list below, the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit 2011 National occupation classification(NOC) code that will be assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements to be eligible for processing"

I am confused by the statement "from the list below". Which list are they referring to ? NOC occupation list or the occupation under each NOC code ?

Brother, Ur statement should have the Bank's authorization ...If the authorization does not contain seal then it is ok...But the banker/person who are going to authorize u need to have his/her details (name/designation) on the statement...

I am wondering whether my passport should be valid for at least 6 months or so.
My passport will expire in the mid of coming June!
The problem is, it I need to renew my passport this may take one month or so and the cap maybe filled.
Any idea about that ??
