Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I am planning to apply in the new FSW 2014 program and was thinking any idea how much time would it take to fill the 1112 category? I am waiting for my WES result and my IELTS is 7 band with total of 71 points if WES considers my Post graduation education else 69.

I think WES would still take 20 odd days to reply back and it would take another 5-7 days to fill the forms and other much needed infomation collection. So i am talking "end of May/June first week" i would send my application. Seniors here, please suggest would there be any chance to get in by that time in 1112??

hello we are in the same boat. Hopefully we can apply early June. Nobody knows how fast the caps are filled. Just cross your fingers and submit your application as soon as you can.

Can you apply under this program if you are officially still a PR?
We left Canada in 2009 and did not return back. Now we want to apply again from scratch since we dont meet the residency requirements.
We have no special reasons for leaving.
Do we have to call someone or fill out a form?

As long as you can arrange Letter of reference from doctor on his clinics letter head with all roles and responsibilities , you can sail through.

There is no requirement to submit tax payment reciept for application

Thanx a lot Broh. Further, of what time frame a bank account statement is needed to be shown? and of what amount? As known the mech. engg. profession cap of 300 is filled within just 3.5 months on 2013, what was it for NOC 3012 (Nursing)?

Hi I have experience in automobile industry in Quality Assurance field.

When look at the Duties defined in Mechanical Engineer and Manufacturing Manager.... Hardly 20-30% of duties are matching .....
Up to what level duties should match??
Worring abt it.

Dont worry bro try to highlight those 30% on ur job reference letter...try to cover ur reference letter with this experiences...

Hi Guys..

I applied for FSWP 2013 in October however my application was returned back due to CAP reached.
I have couple of queries -
Can I use my WES report which I obtained in September last year again this time or do I have to apply again?
Secondly, do I have to notarize my documents again or can I use the ones which I used last time?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I applied last year and my file was returned cause of cap reached. Now I have UCI number. Do I have to update my application with thus nunber.

Also do I have to update and other document like HR or something

my degree is of electrical engineer but I am working in a telecom operator as transmission planning engineer. My question is if I am eligible to apply in 2133 NOC code of electrical and electronics engineer

Yes, I think u can match via 2133 NOC Code brother...

I have a query for FSWP 2014 NOC code 2281 Computer network technicians - Since i am working as network engineer and have masters degree(verified by WES)
can i be eligible for this NOC since it says Computer network technicians .
would appreciate your advise.

Yes bro u can apply..An engineer having experience of technician is allowed to apply on the mentioned category..

No on can say u the exact timeline...And since u dont have other option to expedite ur process...then why worry...?

I think ur application will be on CAP if u can send this on end of May...considering last yr's trend...On last yr it took nearly 22 days for 300 CAP...

Seniors Please Help!!!

1) Am also interested in FSW2014, I have my IELTS done already with 7 band, if I already have more than 69 points, is it compulsory for my spouse to also submit IELTS score?
2) As regards WES, I have my BSC in my home Country and MSC in country of residence. It will be difficult to get my BSC transcript. Is it possible I submit my masters only or I have to submit the BSC? Is WES compulsory for the spouse too?

1. For ur case ur spouse's IELTS is not required as per FSW13.

Sorry to be posting the same question again in this thread, however, can someone please answer my question?

My situation - I worked as a temporary financial analyst for a bank here in Toronto from May 01.13 to May 31.13 for 40 hours per week. I have been working full time (meaning as a permanent employee) since June 06.13.
My concern - I have studied in Canada and I do not want to spend money and time gathering an ECA report. Hence I wanted to know if I will get 10 points under adaptability because I will have one year of work experience in the mid of May 2014. If not, I will have to get an ECA report and that means waiting longer, which I really do not want to do at this point.

Anyone, any advise?

My application for FSWP under 1112 was returned last year due to CAP reached. I have all my documents ready for the application for this FSWP 2014. My concern is of the reference letter received by my last employer (Im not working currently). Do I have to take a fresh reference letter frm my last employer as the one that I have is of last years' ??

In my opinion u are required to take fresh reference letter...since that letter does not contain the job ending date of ur older employer's ....
