Can u please suggest if there is anything which has changed as part of the process to apply in May 2014.. Or i can send the documents and forms in the same way as last years..?

It will be declared on 26th Apr 14 as per CIC.

So keep an eye on this thread...So far no changes has observed...

Listening: 8 = 6 Points
Reading: 7.5 = 6 Points
Writing: 6.5 = 5 Points

Total is 22 points

I'm new to this forum and planning to apply for Canadian PR.

I've few doubts regarding ECA please help me.

1. I have completed my B.E in Electrical , For ECA Do i need to go for WES or any other organization. How long the ECA will take?

2. In WES website its written that

For Secondary Education:
"To be sent directly to WES by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Documents must be verified by the Controller of Examinations."

Do these docs should be sent directly to WES by Board or by me?


HIGHER EDUCATION: Universities and Institutes of Technology
"You may have photocopies of your original Degree Certificates and Marks Sheet/Result Card
attested by the HEC. Please request for all attested photocopies to be placed in an official
sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES."

I have all the mark sheets/transcripts and degree . Still do i need to get the transcripts from the concerned university in sealed envelope or I can forward it right away??


Since I m living outside my home country obtaining these sealed envelope will take soo much time .
WHAT SHOULD I DO PLZZ ADVISE!

Also could you please provide the checklist -mandatory documents that I've to submit fro ECA.

Can I use my WES report which I obtained in September last year again this time or do I have to apply again?
Secondly, do I have to notarize my documents again or can I use the ones which I used last time?

Dear, u have to send sealed envelope ..its mandatory...Though it will take too time..no other option

WES have the better service compare to others.

u can collect sealed transcripts+cert from univ controller and can send it by urself ...No need the docs for sec and Higher Secondary ....

UR WES report is valid for five years...

And for the 2nd query:

All Employment letters/POF those are need to be updated should be taken newly...

Edicational/Marriage cert does not need to be taken newly..

I know one case where the couple sent two application, in one case husband was the principal applicant while in other wife was the principal applicant. They both got PER from CIC but later local visa office requested the husband to withdraw his application and keep only the wife's application active.

i am sure Husband and wife can apply under any NOC..no problem...


I was also attempting on 2013..Since my file was okay (within CAP) my wife didnt applied on that time...

But that was a mistake since my local VO -Singapore is very slow. If my wife applied earlier, her VO was Ottowa which is so fast now...

none of the above occupations job responsibilities matches with my occupation medical labortary technician.
it means i can not apply. oh my god i lost the last chance of fsw....
