Hi CAN2174 & Experts and All,

I'm new to this forum and I wish to be a active member with you all.

I'm planning to apply for Canadian PR.

I've few doubts regarding ECA & Applying VISA.

1. Do we need to first complete the ECA for applying VISA. How long the ECA will take?

2. I have all the mark sheets (semester vise & consolidated) for both UG & PG. Still do i need to get the transcripts from the concerned universities.

3. I have completed my B.E in Electronics & Communication Engg & M.E in Digital Communication and Network Engg. Now I'm working as a Senior Systems Engineer in MNC. My question is whether my Education qualification and my professional designation should mach each other for getting ECA clearance?

4. Regarding Experience letter from the company - I'm having Offer letter, Promotion Letter, Relieving letter, and Salary slips. Are these enough or do i need to get more from the companies that I've worked.

Also could you please provide the checklist -mandatory documents that I've to submit fro ECA.

Thank you guys and expecting your response soon....

1. ECA required--will take 10-15 days or sometimes more ...
2. Only Photocopy need..plz check WES site: http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/
3. Work Exp does not matter.
4. Job description letter is required
5. Please check document checklist (which may change later):

Hi CAN2174 & Experts,

I'm having 8 Years & 9 months of IT experience.

For the first 4 Yrs and 5 Months, I'm working as a "Windows System Administrator".

And the next 4 Yrs & 4 Months (till date) I'm working as a "EMC DOCUMENTUM Administrator" (Content management System), But my Designation is mentioned as "Senior Systems Engineer".

Please let me know my Designation "Senior Systems Engineer" will fall under which job category in latest 2014 NOC list.

It should match ur NOC description described as Database analysts and data administrators (2172)

Please check the job described on here: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2173

AFAIK , you can apply in 2171.As documentum is information system and not a database.

Check the requirements for 2171 also

I have question

Hi ,

Below is the requirement for proof of fund

1) Current bank certification letter
2)evidence of saving balance
3)fixed or time deposit statements

There is nowhere mentioned that you need to give last 3 or 6 months statement. So if we borrow money and show the certification letter which only states the balance in the account and not the history, it will work?? right ?

total requirement for 2 adults is 14720 CAD.

If I have 15000 CAD in saving accounts , will it work ? do they consider that we need to pay for application fees, RPRF fees and airline tickets too ?

so ideally we should have atleast 3-4k CAD over and above minimum ? is my understanding correct ?

15000 CAD is okay...

3-4K over amount is optional.

And u can take Current bank certification letter only for this time...

And they dont consider about the things u mentioned for the Proof of fund..And they dont mentioend anywhere that it should be matured for 3-6 months.

Hope this will clear ur confusion... :)
