A mainland applicant told me that you have a two stage process with a governmental body that acts as a proxy between the ECA administrator and the applicants educational institution. I guess, it is not the case for all occupations though, if you say so. With that many applicants as in China and India getting an IELTS appointment is a big deal. In Russia it takes two weeks. Hi Diplomatru,
Your information from the mainland applicant is correct, we do need to go through a two-stage process, but the first stage(my case) took only about 1 week, while WES took another 3 weeks, that's about 30 days.
that's why i was saying "it doesn't take MUCH longer." one week or two delay is a sure thing, in some rare cases, maybe longer. Hope this can give some more concrete information to our friends here.

So finally CIC declared new opening from 1st May -2014.

I have created this thread for helping each other --could be anything-form filling up,POF queries,mental support etc .

Since this year 50 category will be open having a max cap of 1000, so this will bring more opportunity to be a successful applicant for an period.

NOC 2133 - Too late to apply?

I have my WES and IELTS ready, need to get some documentation for the actual application.

I was wondering if it is too late to apply for NOC 2133?

Also, does anyone know if the Express Entry system would approve PR without a Job Offer? (Don't want to move immediately)

Can't speculate on your chances.
As per EE, they will probably have provinces nominating high-demand professionals w/o job offer too. At least judging by Australian EOI system.

I have one question for Proof Of Fund.

If i get the FD of some rupees in one of my account and then I get the OD (Over draft that means loan on that FD).
So is it good?
My FD will work or not?
Need you response soon.

Nope. POF is supposed to be your money, not a line of credit from a financial institution.

i think tht is nt a good option because ur fd will b pleged by ur bank against loan and when the enquire ur funds u might b in problem
