They are different.
UCI has 8 number
File number is a letter with 9 number after the letter.

Good point, but I don't think CIO has the capacity to process everything. Maybe, there are some applicants who have more than a choice for the visa office, and therefore choosing the faster one. CIO may like to stop this and determine Visa office according to applicant's nationality and not according to their residence in another country for more than a year. Maybe, it is a cause for confusion for some applicants, so they removed it from the form..........

But not all Visa Offices are processing Immigration Application. Like the Manila office for example process South Korea and Japan applicants.

Few details of my app


1) send old generic forms ...and some error aswell of parents dob in form
2) send additional documents of job duties in sept... and email aswell nt sure dey hv been added or nt... received a email revert from cio sydney tht no such documents has been added to ur file yet as on oct 30,please send documents attachments again..emailed dem again on same day after dat no reply from dem. ... tdy is a day of per directly

Can you please advise that whether CVO issues AOR or not?

And how much time will my file take to reach CVO after PER date?

Hi All,

I have a similar problem and I believe that the VO which is processing your application will send the order to the VO of your current country to stamp the Visa in your passport. I don't think sending official documents through mail will be a good practice.

With due respect I would like to inform you that I have sent my FSWP application 1114-other financial officers to Nova Scotia which was received on 09 June,2014 at 12.52 but still i am not notified.
I made a query to cic.....but it gave me some link which asks some tracking number.
My application is not returned to my address nor the payment is charged?
what can i do?

Again, I have now another problem. I have given my sister's credit card number(commonwealth bank, sydney). But some fraud advertisement company is taking money from it as she has given the card number and cve to the company. So she wants to change the card. But my payment to cic suppose to be done by that card. How can I change the payment system to cic now?

Again, if i am not eligible how and when will I be informed?

When you get passport request, request them if they can complete stamping procedure at SGVO.

P.S. Sending Indian passport outside country of residence is illegal according to Indian Law, so please avoid doing that.

Hello beautiful people,

Just received MR from NDVO - 11 June App , 8th oct PER NOC : 2172.

I have a question , in the Form for MR it is mentioned that

Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for you. This must be received at this office by: 2015/01/12

Does that mean i have to submit the PCC from each state in india as well whereever i have loved more than 6 months ??

Just clarifying.. , please let me know if anyone is sure of the info and has worked for him/her ??
