[size=20pt] GUYS IM BACK!! After weeks of depression because of my refusal letter 20 days ago, I am finally back. I just want to share this experience to everybody who got a refusal letter or NER (instead of PER) and think that the refusal is unfair. I tried calming myself first, weighed all the points that CIC did not consider, and tried to put everything in an EMAIL or Fax it to CIO..Just be brief and concise..and SEND IT..wait patiently and still if there is no response after a week..Consult a Barrister Lawyer, the one who handles Judicial Review Case against Unfair CIC decisions...Present your case for Judicial Review because you have 15-60 day after you receive the refusal to contest the decision of any Visa Officer... The downside is the lawyers fee is 250$/hr...so I presented my case to this lawyer and even him was infuriated because I got 75 point total instead of 65 as per CIO refusal letter..So he prepared a letter stating all the facts and points and have me signed and attached all the supporting documents and sent it to the address found in my refusal letter... One clause I remember is "I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK A JUDICIAL REVIEW IF NO ANSWER WILL BE RECEIVED FROM CIO".. The thing is He did not even charge me for that day and were chatting 2 hours about the case. He didn't charge me because he felt my depression as well and he is convinced that CIO messed up things for me..So just the other day...I received an email with a POSITIVE ELEGIBILTY REVIEW..now I am waiting for my medical...JUne 18 Applicant here...CC charged October 7.... Hope this helps..

excellent job.
Wish you enter next step earlier.

[glow=red,2,300]MY MEDICALS EXPERIENCE AT SPS APOLLO HOSPITAL, LUDHIANA[/glow]

WE REACHED AT THE RECEPTION AT 9:30AM. THERE WERE ALREADY MANY PEOPLE WAITING FOR THEIR TURN, THEY HAVE COME FOR MEDICALS FOR DIFFERENT COUNTRIES THOUGH.WE WERE TOLD TO FILL A FORM AND SUBMIT. THE LADY AT THE RECEPTION CALLED OUR NAME AFTER 15 MINUTES AND ASKED TO DEPOSIT INR 4200/- PER PERSON AS MEDICAL FEE. THEN WE WENT TO MASTER HEALTH CHECKUP(MHC) ON THE SAME FLOOR WHERE THE LAB GUY TOOK OUR BLOOD AND URINE SAMPLES. THEY DO DIPSTICK ANALYSIS OF URINE AND SCAN BLOOD FOR SYPHILLS AND HIV. AFTER THAT WE HAVE TO GO TO ROOM 509 ON FIFTH FLOOR EYE TESTING...NORMAL PROCEDURE...FILLED OUR FORMS UPON CHECKING OUR EYESITE. THEREAFTER WE REPORTED TO VISA DESK SECTION ON GROUND FLOOR.IT WAS ALREADY 10:45 AM BY THEN. WE WERE TOLD TO WAIT FOR OUR TURN HERE.

AFTER NEARLY 1:30 HOURS OUR NAMES WERE CALLED.. FIRST OF ALL OUR PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN THEN WE WERE TOLD TO WAIT AGAIN FOR AROUND 30-45 MINUTES. AGAIN OUR NAMES WERE CALLED, THIS TIME FELLOW BEHIND DESK TOOK OUR PP COPY AND CHECKED OUR MED FORMS, AFTER ENTERING OUR DETAILS IN HIS SYSTEM HE GAVE US E MED FORMS AND INSTRUCTED TO GET CHEST XRAYS DONE...AGAIN AT MHC. AFTER XRAYS WE GAIN CAME BACK TO VISA DESK, AFTER TAKING WEIGHT AND HEIGHT WE WERE TOLD TO REPORT TO PHYSICIAN'S OFFICE.

AT 1:00PM WE WERE OUTSIDE DR'S ROOM..AFTER 45 MINUTES WE WERE TOLD THAT DOCTOR HAD AN EMERGENCY CALL TO ATTEND(MOST PROBABLY MUST HAVE BEEN LUNCH BREAK) SO THE THE ATTENDANT TOLD US EITHER TO WAIT OR COME AFTER 30 MINUTES. WE CAME BACK AT 2:15PM AND AFTER 30 MINUTES IT WAS OUR TURN. THE DOCTOR ASKED A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR PROFESSION, LIFESTYLE HABITS AND ANY PAST MEDICAL HISTORY. AFTER THAT HE TOOK BLOOD PRESSURE AND DID PHYSICAL EXAMINATION. AS WE BOTH HAVE MEDICAL BACKGROUND..HE PRESCRIBED US ADDITIONAL HCV AND HBsAg TO RULE OUT ANY CHANCE OF INFECTION. FOR THAT WE GAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL 730/-PP. THE LAB GUY TOLD US NO NEED FOR NEW SAMPLES, AS HE STILL HAVE OLD SAMPLES. THEN WE CAME BACK TO VISA DESK

IT WAS 3:15PM BY THEN. THE GUY AT THE DESK TOLD US..OUR MEDICALS ARE DONE AND TOOK OUR E MED FORMS FOR STAMPING, LATER RETURNED BACK TO US.

MY SUGGESTION TO FELLOW FORUMITES, NO NEED TO PANIC. DRINK AROUND 2-3 LITRE WATERS IN THE PRECEDING WEEK, CUT DOWN ON SALT AND FRIED,JUNK FOOD. INCREASE FRUITS AND CEREALS IN YOUR DIET. NO SMOKING AND DRINKING ...STOP IT WEEKS AHEAD OF YOUR MEDICALS.
(I WAS HAVING CHOLESTEROL AND URIC ACID ON HIGHER SIDE...BUT IT ALL WENT FINE)

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU GUYS...GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PROCESS.
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Rohit

Thanks very much for sharing your experience and advise

Wish you speedy PPR ahead and + 1

Dear All,

Just re-posting my queries. Would be grateful if someone can help....

I need your advise for my second application that i am planning to send in 1st week of december. My 1st application was for 2174, was received on 11th september but, as we all know that cap has been filled already (although i did nt hear back anything from cic till now).
Since i am eligible and have valid >1 year experience under 2172, i am going to send application for this noc and had a few doubts.
Would be grateful if experienced members can help.
1) In the cover letter, should i mention anything about the 1st application or, it is advisable to present this as a fresh one, without any references to the 1st application.
2) My spouse birth cert is missing so, i am planning to send the metric certificate along with an affidavit for the same. My question here is should i send the affidavit in original or, a photo copy of the affidavit?
3) For the JD, i am sending another affidavit from my senior (hr and manager refused to give detailed jd). All my payslips, experience letters e.t.c reflect my designation as Database administrator, which is what is the title for 2172 and my experience is completely valid. Hope, this should be sufficient? I can also attach my performance appraisals which have items relevant for DBA jobs.
Same query for this also. Should i send original affidavit or copy of affidavit from my colleague.

Regards
Jamie.

Great job!! So having faith in yourself is the key to success!

Congrats!! Well done! Can you please share what are CIC's reasons to take away 10 points from you at first?

CIO didn't Consider the Following:

A. Relatives in Canada
B. Experience (they just counted 1 year of my 5 years experience9
C. LANGUAGE POINTS
E. The officer didn't believe that we are not going to be economically stable in Canada (But we are already in CANADA and we even saved a lot for 1 year 7 months)

Same Officer has Sent me my NER and PER Email.
