If you email them, they send you a finger print form (not available in their website) and a sample. They take one to two weeks to respond to the email. You can follow it up by calling them after few days. Along with the completed Finger print form, you can send the Appeal and Application forms (downloadable from their website) together with the required documents. It will be helpful for you as well as other forumites if you can update your forum profile.

As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer.

These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.

Just wanted to add on top of what you've mentioned, CanOl. From what is mentioned on CIC's website, it's clear that FSWP will STOP accepting applications from January, 2015!

Experience Letters --- > Couldnt obtain an official one from HR but submitted reference letters from colleagues with their visiting cards and official seals stamped on the affidavit attached, payslips, appraisals etc
IELTS: 7.5 overall, spouse 5.5 overall
ECA: WES acknowledged a 4 year canadian equivalent degree
Job Title: Assistant Manager but applied for NOC2132 (Mechanical Engineers), means Job titles are not important , JDs are.
PCC: Provided for self as well as spouse


sharing these details so that people who have confusions regarding Work experience and job titles etc may take a sigh of relief ...

Yesterday, I was starting to get a bit tensed as 31st july applicants were supposed to start receiving PERs. I talked to my bro in law in canada and asked him to call CIO to inquire about my file. Today evening I just opened my mailbox, one from my brother and other was the GOLDEN email which were received almost simultaneously. My brother told me that he talked to CIO official on phone, he/she said they cant tell the status of application without UCI #. My brother provided them with my details of application in reply of which he was told that I will be informed via email within next 4 weeks. But I received it at the same time my brother was talking to them on phone. What a co-incidence.

can any one help me what is the procedure to send the missing documents? i missed to include my credential copies along with the ECA report , i would like to send it now, please advise at which address i need to end it and what should be indicated so that they know that this is missing documents of my application.

Hi VR8, I have 10 years of work experience in HR and the duties I have done are way above and I can say 1000 times more than listed in the occupation description. I guess the only mistake I had done was copied some of the duties directly from the Website just because I was advised that we should use similar language and its is beneficial to have same duties included in the reference letter. But overall there were around 50 responsibilities that I had listed in my reference letter against 10 duties listed on website, hence I don't understand the logic of file coming back and i find it literally funny. Hope this helps...

Bad luck for you this time but send the corrected copy if you are sure that cap will not get filled. Even I had mentioned only one of several duties verbatim but my consultant got it corrected
