Hi seniors ,

I received PER 2 days back . But i have an issue as i have a change in employment . Should i send new joining letter to NDVO by courier or scanned copy of the same can be uploaded online through case specific inquiry ?? I am bit worried.
will it have any negative effect on my application???

Yes you have to inform NDVO about your change in employment by sending the relieving letter and offer letter by courier and scan copy by mail. But you have wait another 20 days b'cos the file transfer will take some time from CIC to NDVO.

Next Communication you will receive is a MR request from the NDVO office.

It take on an average 45 days for the NDVO to get the file and send you the email.

Before that there will be a background verification and check on your application at the local VO(NDVO in your case).

Once you receive the MR (and PCC if you havent submitted earlier) then you will have to take Medical checks from the CMM center http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

That is absolutely ok. You can also do one thing, after your receive your PER, you can send a Case specific enquiry to NDVO in like 15-20 days and send the updated passport copy to them, they will change the name in the MR request which they are going to send. So you should be fine.

so according to CC charge info we have
CIC is charging hot NOC (2132, 3012) first again just like before it was charging (2171, 2173) first

i am 4 SEP applicant of non hot NOC (1114), hope to be charged in NOV and get PER in DEC
keep on praying...waiting is not easy

I am 11th Sept Applicant and now my wife has got her new passport with her personal details changed:
1. Change in Surname
2. Change in Address
3. Addition of Spouse name (as someone told me to include these things as priority)

All the docs are submitted to CIC based on her older passport. How to inform this to CIC or NDVO?

Do I need to fill all CIC forms again and submit them due to change of her surname? If yes, then when.

CIC has already completed my completeness check as sept applications have started getting their CC charged.

Hi,

Honestly I do not understand this name change business post marriage but as long as you have the same post marriage name in the marriage certificate as well and have mentioned either pre-marriage or post-marriage name as an alias in the generic form, I don't think there's any need to send updated forms.

You can inform your local VO about the change in passport details after PER.

Its online : https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi . You can also send them the hardcopy of the documents with your UCI number(which you will get through your PER))

YES I DID IT WITH PRIVATE PULMONOLOGIST AND KEEP IN MIND ONCE YOU ARE ASKED TO DO YOUR SPUTUM TEST TO RECOGNIZE WHETHER YOU HAVE TUBERCULOSIS OR NOT THEN BY ANY MEANS YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THEIR STANDARD PROCEDURE SET BY CIC
AND IN THEIR STANDARDS FOR TUBERCULOSIS THE ONLY TEST IS SPUTUM TEST WHICH THEY MONITOR FOR 6-8 WEEKS
I KNOW ITS VERY TIME CONSUMING BUT WE DON'T HAVE ANY CHOICE!!

Thanks for sharing this. I have posted similar query in the forum waiting fopr response. It was below:

Little bit of confusion about the exact meaning of PER and the forum term PER. My understanding is that once CIO checks the file and transfer it to VO, it is called PER. However, it seems we are using the AOR for the same. And PER is used in the forum for receipt of UCI and File number. Kindly enlighten me.. bit confused here.

If the UCI mail is what we call PER then where does NER fits in the map. Because PER does itself mean NER is no more an option here. Thats adding to the confusion.

Need ur expert views on my situation.
I got PER almost 144 days after my file was received by CIC. Sum forum members also asked me the probable reason for the same but I myself dun know y it was so delayed. Anyways So here I am waiting for the next step i.e. MR request. Is it possible that CIC might have any suspicion in my case dats the reason for delay and the chances r NDVO will take more time than average in providing MR request (may b verification cud be carried out in detail for me).??

You are absolutely right that I am matching my duties with the Mechanical Engineer Projects designation...

And the duties which I am performing as a Marketing Engineer is additional to my experience of Projects Engineer....

Now, if I have submitted the application with the current duties, what are the chances of acceptance of my application?

And if chances are low than should I amend the duties and resend it?

I can't say that about re application, becoz now they are doing compli check for Sept , and u r 2 nd oct , reaching of revised letter , chances r so so....

I am the main applicant and I provided a bank statement of my Spouse as POF. Also, I have attached a NOC for the usage of funds signed by my spouse.
