Hello,

I just got an email from CPC-OTTAWA office requesting FBI Clearance certificate. I have already submitted my application to FBI office, but according to their website due to IT upgrades it is taking approximately 12 weeks.
The email said that i have to submit documents within 60 days. Has anyone able to request an extension? Also can i just email them and request extension or do i have to send them a letter?

Noc 0911. Current cap is 128 as shown on website

I think they have 2 sets - other NOCs and 2171/2173 (hot ones)
Last week we saw CC for the hot NOCs and this week the other ones, I still believe they would come back and consider few more applications for Aug 2173.
Keep praying.

Probably you are within cap, but NOBODY except CIC can tell. Email takes 47 days

Congrats! Now the long wait begins. My docs arrived on October 27th, just 3 weeks ago, and I'm already biting my nails off :'(

Don't know how everybody can wait for 120 days without going insane.

You will be in the cap for sure.

Email them a copy of FBI submission receipt asking for extension. No hard copy necessary

Just 1 more thing.. Document checklist is updated.. its 10-2014 now. Earlier it was 08-2014

I am June 11th. I got an email requesting FBI Clearance Certificate. But no medical request as of yet.

Its June 16 for CPC-O

Keep checking on this forum especially if ur VO is CPC-O

FINALLY THE GOLDEN EMAIL[size=10pt][size=10pt] PER [/size][/size]IN MY MAILBOX..

Today is my daughters first birthday.. we just now came home after the function .. I was refreshing my gmail as usual for every 30 min.. There you go .. I didn't believe what I was looking at..

NOC - 2171
Application received date at CIC - 24-Jul
DD encashed date as per the email - 7-Nov
PER date - 18-Nov

Below are some detail what I have done and I would suggest -
1) Roles and Responsibilities of one reference letter for which I am claiming for 3.5 years matched only 30% with CIC NOC detail.. I have talked to my ex-company and got a new reference letter with 80% match and sent it later on 20-Oct.. I don't know whether CIC accepted it or not, but I got PER finally
2) I would suggest everyone to use DD rather than CC, because there might be some risk of payment issues
3) Follow every step mentioned in Document check list.. which is our source of truth and bible for PR application
4) I follow this forum almost everyday for at least 30 min to see what are current updates and the trend
5) I did all by myself with the help of fellow forumties and didn't got for consultancies
