Hello friends now I am planning to apply as my points have come out to be 67. Thanks this forum is very helpful. As I have started seriously looking into applying I might come across certain queries Hopefully you friends can guide me as I am applying all by myself. Now can anyone let me know about my 2 queries as follows :

1.) Do I need to send photocopy of my attested and verified degree certificate with university seal or only simple photocopy of degree certificate to WES? I have all mark sheets photocopies attested and verified. Only query is about Degree certificate. Also would it be acceptable if the photocopies are in black and white?

2.) I don't have enough funds in bank account so can a sponsorship letter be helpful instead of showing funds(10,000$) to cover my expenses during my stay there?

CIC was supposed to provide number of accepted applications is the "Applications we will accept – Federal skilled workers" page at
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

But still no update of the page !!

and "Total received toward the overall cap: 0 of 25,000" ??

Is there anything wrong with it? or Should I expect updates later?

where do you get this information ? as what get from the checklist, it does NOT say this. just send an original WES

I was writing about official transcripts. WES needs official transcripts from Universities in sealed envelope. When including the same (official transcripts) for FSW application, CIC does not want any documents stapled or inside another envelope.
I suggest you read the original post of what was being asked and answered for.

I will try to answer question 1.
WES only needs official transcripts (in US at least). Everything is required for the FSW application though. If they are in other language than English or French, it needs to be attested (again only when sending them to CIC, not WES). WES does not/should not need anything except official transcript.
It is NOT mandated for photocopies to be in color.

Transcripts=Mark sheets (document that lists all the classes taken and grades received).
Its a good idea to attest every document just-in-case but it is only required to do so for the documents that are not in English or French.
