Those living in Canada,

Can someone tell me how easy it is to access Indian food in cities like Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver?

And how easy it is to access healthy food like Salads, Sandwich or Sushi? etc. (Not burgers and fries)

I'm asking because I've heard that fast food / fried foods are generally easy to find in US but stuff like Sandwich is generally difficult!

Can some one guide that it is the NDVO who give us the doctor for MR or we can choose ourselves from the list from the website of CIC?

Can medical be get it done even before the NDVO request?

Only from the doctors on the Physician panel from the cic website.
Not before NDVO request.

I am sending my MR proof, fee proof and PCC to NDVO. Is it fine if i do speed post or courier is better.
If someone sent their documents by courier , please suggest which courier is better..

Most of them used BlueDart. They delivered mine in less than a day but charged around Rs.500. Recommend you as well to use the same.

One more query

I have receiver PER on November 11, 2014 (July 16 applicant). My passport will expire in March 2015. I am expecting medical request by Jan 11, 2014. I may renew the passport before i get the MR.

My quesries are:

1. Should i apply now for passport renewal or after MR?
2. Do i need to inform CIC / VO or to both?
3. If i do need to inform both, form of communication should be post / email / both?
4. Will require addresses (postal/email/both) too pls? if i do need to inform them

Has always and will appreciate your support.

In India it is INR.8400(or INR.5400) only for adults.

Max hospital new delhi Rs4250.00 Adult.

Urgent Help Appreciated!

Hi Fellow applicants, I will be sending my application under NOC 1111 this week. I am from Pakistan living in United Arab Emirates. I have three questions please:

1. My residence visa profession is Marketing Executive but my current actual profession is Finance Analyst, does it make any difference? Do I have to attach a cover letter to explain this?
2. I have traveled a number of times from Dubai (Resident here) to Karachi (Citizen here) back and forth during the past two years, do I have to include details of all my visits in the SUPPLEMENTARY TRAVEL FORM?
3. What other travel documents have to be attached (entry/exit stamps / entry permits etc.)?

As per the spreadsheet and other guys speculation ,time frame from PER to Medical is calculated as 45 to 60 days for NDVO.
Do you guys think that if not getting MR request within this time phrase is an issue and should be worried.?

After renewing, you can inform your VO through CSE.

You will be happily surprised, to see so many Indians in the cities you have mentioned.
Sandwich will be available in every strip mall.

I have submitted my MR today and have couple of questions as below.

1.) Approximate time to have the Passport request
2.) After passport request within how much days one have to submit passport?
3.) At the time of passport request if person is out of India what is the procedure to extend the submission date of passport? (As per the stats from spredsheet people are getting passport request within one month and mostly at that time i will not be in a position to submit my passport)

My NDVO is New Delhi, India
App sent date :- 6-June-2014
App Receive Date :-- 11-June-2014

I am a 9th June applicant received PER on 04th Oct. I Send an email to NDVO last week with regards to my Application Status and below is the reply I got from them today......

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Please be advised that your file is still pending the initial review by the office. At present no action is required on your part. Once the review is complete and next step is detemined, our office will contact you with further instructions.


Can anyone explain what does this email means..... Have they not started the processing of my file yet is it still in queue .... Or they are waiting for the Background Verification to get complete.

Please need some comments from seniors on this......

After PER it shows "in process" and "we received your application on..."
