My consultant just sent the MR, RPRF and PCC request mail to me. He had received this mail from NDVO on 14th Nov but forwarded only today.

Did CIC specified anywhere that it is liiegal to send passport from one country to another country
or Candiate shall be in the same country where PR Visa is being issued?

I just received the below mail from CIC as a response to my applicstion status update i sent on September 30th, 1014 for my application received on September 4th, 2014. I believe completeness check has been done on my application and awaiting DD.

App receive date: Sep. 4th
Mode: DD
NOC: 1212
Status request date (i.e date mail sent to cic): Sep. 30th
CIC responded via mail today: Nov. 17th

Hi,

I do have the same scenario. And i am planning to take the footsteps of my friend who faced similar scenario in 2013.

Steps to be followed:

Once NDVO requests you to submit passport, you can email them back saying ' you live in United states for job reasons hence you wont be able to submit the passport hence ask them to change the Visa office to New york( i believe) once the decision has been made."

Once thats done they will notify you via email and newyork office takes generally 2 weeks to return the passport.

Can I earn points against adaptability criteria as one of my cousin brother (My Aunt's Son i.e. My Mother's Sister's Son) is living in Canada

If yes what documents I would be requiring to proof the relationship ??

Glad to share with all you friends that my cc has been charged. Just found it on my cc online statement with transaction date being 15 November, though it was not appearing till morning today.

Cc charge: 15 November 14

I would like to have few suggestions / inputs to plan my next step:
1.How long would it take for PER / file transfer ?
2.I will be getting married within 20 days and want to add my spouse, what should I do or prepare in advance. Please help / suggest.

"Guys! I have a small query. Has anybody successfully checked his/her ECAS status using the Receipt number?

I had paid my RPRF onling using my credit card. I got a recipt for the same and with the receipt number mentioned on top of it. According to the ECAS site I can check my status using my Receipt number as well. But when I search using the receipt that I have it says nothing found.

If I search using my UCI number the status is "In Process" with three lines, last line being "Medicals Received". Last line got update on 7th November

How can I confirm that my RPRF has been received by the VO? I am slightly tense about this. Please let me know guys."

you should send this Receipt to your vo by email/ mail after writing of ur uci no. and your name
