Hey chill brother. I will explain. Lets say your email address was mave.rick @ gmail.com and they entered it accidentally as mav.erick @ gmail.com then you wouldnt get the email PER right? similarly for mave_rick @ gmail.com was entered as mave-rick @ gmail.com and so many other combos especially if you have a mail address that has multiples of the same alphabet mmmaverick @ gmail.com or something similar, it could have gone some place else. Worse scenario is your PER went to SPAM around the time your junk mail folder was being cleaned up and got deleted automatically.

We can speculate on what might have happened but since you have ecas status showing up already - you should stop worrying. If it is showing received that means the completeness check is passed and the material is being sent to local VO for processing. Your fee has been charged right? I don't see why you are worried.

My FSW application(from India) reached sydney(novascotia)-office on Oct 21 2014. (I got this date by tracking the courier which i used to send my application).
So far I didn't hear anything from them.
What do u think would be my approximate timeline for

* first file no
* second file no
* medicals
* ?? (don't know the next step)

If they are moving as well only then he needs to submit 3members or 2members funds. If he is moving alone thn only 1 person fund is required

IF we do not have a Birth Certificate, we go for the Self Affidavit option, want to know if there were applications which did not include the birth certificate. It is now difficult to get a BC in time now. Please help. my year of birth is 1980.

One you haven't mentioned your NOC, second considering if based on your NOC, you get your file number, it would be around Jan '15 when you will get 1st file no. known as PER

Now after that there would be directly medicals and no AOR (second file no).
after that you will have to submit medicals
after that PPR
after that VISA
after that YAYYYYYYYYY CANADA
