Hi Guys, I have a strange situation. My ECAS' second line is updated to "We started processing your application on 08/Nov/2014". . . . . .

But, I never received my PER email . . . . members of this forum said that I missed PER email . . . .

Now, I don't want to miss MR email . . . and doubt that what if CIO has my incorrect email ID or for some reasons I am not receiving email. . . .

What shall I do - - - Call them/Email them ????

first check spam folder and any other folder of your mailbox. Per night be there. If you have sent docs through consultant, their email id must be mentioned on the forum, so Check with them as well.
If not speak to cic. Also write to them but email reply takes 45 days that days.

I got PER on 07-10-2014, and my VO is NDVO

Guys - useful info - it confirms they count app in CAP right after completeness (even before CC charge)
I got this info from their training manual which is available for public.

I'm sharing CIC process flow (taken from CIC training material for their employees)
Hope this will be useful for forum members to understand all the steps CIC takes once they receive FSW application

Normally CIC takes around 40-45 days before responding to any query. You are saying that CIC replied you the very next day..which is hard to believe..my friend.. I am not raising finger upon your credibility.. It's like this post of your has given so many August applicants of 2173 a hope that still there is a chance for them.. I just want to make aurw that what ever you have written is true...i hope you will understand

No issues. I had sent a mail to both cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca and question @ cic.gc.ca. It is from question @ cic.gc.ca that I got the reply.

I had sent it to the 'question' mail id as a follow up enquiry after reading from this forum that someone got a reply soon. It worked for me too!

Hi,

I applied in the 2132 Mech Engineer category in May 2014, today I received my RPRF and MR from CIC.

Last month I got married. I applied initially as a single applicant.

What is the procedure to include my wife in this application?
How do I inform CIC that my marital status has changed?
Will this delay my application?
Has anyone been through this before (Applied as a single applicant and got married later)?
Please help.
