Hi,

I have a question - I have recently got L1 visa stamped on my passport. However, I am not travelling to US anytime soon, not at least the whole PR process is over. When I receive MR or PPR do I still need to inform the local visa office about my L1 visa stamping, even though I am not travelling to US?

No need to update new visas in your passport. Only if you actually travel, then you need to update.

How many days does it take for courier to reach them from India

Depending on which courier service you opted it takes 4 to 6 days. Checkout courier website tracker.

I just got the below response from CIC in response to my email sent on September, 24

Application has been received.

Notification will be sent in due course.

Any idea what does it mean?

Any idea what does it mean?

If you don't have PER yet then you application was probably received too late to make the cap and CIC is in the process of returning it to you.

I want to know if 5 points in one of the ielts abilities is OK for a spouse of a FSW applicant .. I know 6 is the minimum score point for the applicant.

For spouse 5 in all is good to go
If I am not wrong then following is the minimum required is L 4.5 R 3.5 W 4.0 S 4.0
