Want a small suggestion,I am 21jul applicant made my payment through DD and via consultant.How can i come yo know about my DD encashment?Also by when i can expect per mail.please guide as anxiety level is too high.

Which bank did you apply? It is a bit difficult process to find if DD is en-cashed or not since not all bank employees have the information, however DD is the best option to pay fee

It will take around 100 days to get PER? What is your NOC?

Hello All, I am 27th Aug applicant under NOC 2171. I used my brother's CC who is in USA and according to his CC statement it says payment in progress eff 10th Nov.
Do anyone have any insights whether it is accepted or declined and they want to retry?
He do not get messages for transactions like we do get in India. It is a VISA card.

I see for some applicant's CC is charged as far as Aug 27th. Can someone please confirm if this is correct? I am happy to see things moving so fast for August and after seeing that entry my heart has started beating fast. I am 19th August, Applicant in University Professor category so was wondering how long will be my wait time. Your input is highly appreciated and valuable.

Hi Buddy, estimated time is around 3 months, however since things are moving a bit fast you can expect to be charged a bit early.

It means they have authorized the card. When your credit card is in authorization phase the transaction is in processing stage. So i hope your brother's credit card has been charged successfully.

Guys..finally I got a huge smile on my face when i saw the message that $1100 charged on my Credit Card few minutes back ( 7pm Indian Time) after 109 days since my application reached CIC

Now eagerly waiting for PER mail

Sorry my question might be dumb, but I am in Canada on a study permit and i submitted Indian PCC through Indian Consulate in Canada, do i still need to get FBI Clearance??

FBI Clearance needed for people who stayed in USA for more then 6 months. ;D

Good Luck everyone! Wish you all the best.. Awaiting PER now.. Please pray for me It has been a very long journey. I missed the boat last time..
