managersonline said:Dear All Experts,
Needs your guidance about mistake by WES in my ECA report.
Actually I have done Master of Computer Science which is 16-years of education through Federal Government University in Pakistan. After that I took admission in MBA program. The pre-requisite for admission in this MBA program was 16-years of schooling. Therefore University granted me admission in this MBA, because I already had MCS degree which was 16-years of schooling. After completion of MBA, I have been granted equivalency certificate by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (Government Accredation Authority in Pakistan for recognizing Universities and Education Credentials) that my MBA is equivalent to 18-years of schooling in Pakistan and is equivalent to M-Phil/MS Degree in Business Administration in Pakistan. I have already informed WES about this equivalency, prior to issuance of ECA report by them.
As per Canadian Education System, M-Phil /MS-Degrees of Pakistan, which is 18-Years of schooling, are equivalent to “Canadian Master's Degree”. But WES have ignored this fact and in my ECA report they have mentioned that this MBA (18-yeasrs of schooling) has to be considered in conjunction with 14-years of schooling which means that pre-requisite for admission in this MBA is 14-years of schooling as per WES, which is incorrect, misleading and false and against the reality. Because this MBA has to be considered in conjunction with MCS-16-Years of schooling and therefore this MBA degree is actually 18-years of schooling and hence equivalent to Canadian Master's Degree. WES have declared my MBA degree as total 16-years of education and declared it as Canadian 4-Years Bachelor Degree. Similarly for my MCS degree they have mentioned the same that it is equivalent to Canadian 4-Years Bachelor Degree. Although for MCS degree they are right but for my MBA degree WES is wrong.
For all of experts' information in this forum, even for admission in PHD in Canadian universities my MBA is acceptable as Canadian Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Today I have already lodged official complaint with WES through all Email addresses that I have through this forum, as well as I have sent them Fax messages to their six fax numbers. Parallel to this I have already arranged the official Equivalence certificate duly attested and sent in sealed envelope by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan to WES and this Equivalence Certificate clearly states that my MBA is equivalent to M-Phil/MS in Business Administration and it is 18-years of schooling in Pakistan.
Can anyone suggest that WES will accept their mistake and correct my ECA report? OR they will be stubborn and stick to their false issued ECA report that mentions that both of my Masters degrees are equivalent to Canadian 4-Years Bachelor degrees!!!
OR I should go for legal action against them because what they are writing in my ECA report is misleading, incorrect and totally false against the facts and reality and even against the Canadian Government Education System.
Appreciate all of your expert advice and patience for reading this long message.
Regards,
George
Thanks Diplomatru. Yes thanks to the forum, we have really made good friends. But to party in Canada, you need to share your contact details by the time you get final PR without which we will never be able to recognise you even if we happen to pass by you in Canada.Diplomatru said:Dear MeGo_Egypt, Gsw, danielcaspiano, idefix, CanOl, svcanada, Jaxon911, IceDove2174, riyavisa, dadabigboy, vind, trk1, aruls, jamal12345, Orangel123, siena15, Rpchugh!
It gives me immense pleasure just to have such a long list of awesome friends who were here to congratulate me once I got CCC. I am really touched and proud to have such an overwhelming support, it means a lot to me. I've given +1 to everyone, but got karmafied most of the time because you guys are so cool, that this 168 hours wait time becomes as frustrating as the whole CIO stage. Please, rest assured that I am there for you, both in PM and here.
A few friends noticed that I have been in the blues lately. The fact is that my students presented poor essays, and for a TA like me this lack of academic ambition in kids is a very unpleasant thing, that I don't take lightly. And then CIO freaked me out, and before long I was questioning my career goals and immigration prospectives. Therefore I am extremely grateful that you came to my aid, and I am smiling now, wishing us all to throw in a hell of party once we get out our immigration visas and reunite in Toronto (?). Love you all!

Given the strange activity of the last 48 hours of charging August applicants for NOC's like 2171, What could we think those of us like me, August 7th (NOC 2171), who hasn't been charged nor returned our files?
Very worrying moments!
Congratulations! You deserve it!Diplomatru said:CC charged just now

shah2014 said:@ ALL THOSE WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT DELAY IN CC/DD Charging.
I can see some of the applicants getting worried about CC/DD charges of applicants of later dates. You guys need to understand, CIC working process (no one knows for sure but here is how expert explain it).
1. Applications are reviewed by subject matter specialists, so all IT related NOC are reviewed by IT team, engineering related NOC by Engineer's team and so on.
2. The strength of NOC team depends on expected application inflow. Therefore, IT related team will have more resources than fields which are not even expected to get filled.
3. The applications are allocated to each resource in batches (may be of 5-10)
4. Every application is unique and every person has its own speed. Therefore, if simplest app goes to fastest processor, it may be reviewed in 1-2 hrs, whereas most complex (more dependents and year experience) gone to slow processor (like me) may take more than a day.
Therefore, it is quite possible that one team is ahead of others by few days or even weeks. Note that these difference in charge dates have always been there. Earlier, during 1st month of processing it was 1-2 days, which extended to 3-4 days in 3rd month of processing and now to more than a week. At that time we used to say “CIC is working parallel on 2-3 days of application). The reason behind is that the team, which was initially fast (may be due to workload, number of apps per day for specific field, average complexity of apps received in that field etc) has gone further ahead and the other teams are still struggling to catch up.
Most importantly, initially inflow of new apps per day was high and the difference was not that apparent. Now, as the number of new apps has reduced, it has become more apparent/visible. In absolute terms, the difference may be only 100-150 apps and remain constant but earlier it was matter of 2-3 days, now it has become 2-3 weeks.
Don' forget, some apps (may be 5-10%) are placed for “senior management” review for audit of the whole process. Its just to monitor performance of reviewers through sampling, nothing to worry about. You must have heard that IELTS result of few candidates get delayed beyond usual 13 days, as their results are selected as “SAMPLE” to add authenticity. Same is the case here. Btw, all such apps are counted towards the cap before placing for “audit review” only charging is made after finalization. This also explains some apps being charged 1-2 weeks after “CAP” full.
There is nothing to worry about, unless apps related to ur NOC and date have been charged for more than a week. I have been to the same situation when my app (9th May) was charged 2-3 days after first charge of 9th May applicants. I do understand that in such situation, nothing can calm your nerves but I have tried my level best to explain the situation in different ways. Stay calm and pray hard.
All the BEST.
