Now how long it would take to get MR ?

One more doubt, when they actually do the background verification ? Before updating ECAS second line ? Or after updatin ECAS second line ?

Within a week you should get MR, but May take longer depending on the complexity of your application.

verification s are done after they start processing. Means after second line generally.

My friend is applying for fsw. But there seems to be a problem in his name
In passport his name is mentioned as Reji Varughese, but in educational certificate and in offer letters it is mentioned as Reji Varghese. 'U' is missing in surname.. do you think this create a problem???

use an affidavit for minor spelling changes.

My application for NOC 2173 was received on 4th Sept. As current CAPPING is 699 for this NOC, so what are the chances i will in CAPPING Limit ??

Really very tense now after capping is updated to 699.

Keep the Spirit Up. Given that the current CAP is nearing ~ 700 and it was updated on Nov 8th, so there is a least possibility that All of the July and August Applicants have been covered whilst the CAP was updated. All I can say is HOPE FOR BEST AND STAY POSITIVE.

I received Medical Request on 8th nov. I have to travel to onsite from my current company by next week for 3 weeks and considering this I have couple of questions.

1. Within how much days generally people get Passport request after submitting MEDICAL,PCC & RPRF
2. After receving Passport request within how many days candidate has to sent Passport to local VO? (Is there any time limit like medical ? )
3. Suppose there is any time limit to submit passport , what to do while candidate is at onsite?

I received my PER a week back, does that mean I'm counted towards the CAP or its counted after VO verifies the documents and sends the MR? I am in a worry because the count in cap has increased to 699 from 425 since I received the PER.

cap will not be an issue for you. You will be within cap.

Hope all is well. I have applied FSW 2014 NOC-4011 application received by MIKE on 2nd September. I do have a query that is there any where in the application forms that we need to write about VISA Office name? So far I remember that I didn't mention my Visa Office name.
