Hello all, I have applied for FSW under NOC 2132 category. CC was charged on 23th October and haven't receive the PER email till now. I am really worried about it. any suggestions ? Am i out of game ?

My application was received on June 9,2014. I got my CC charged in August and PER in October.


I lived in UK, India for more than 6 months in the past--I got PCC from them back in June 2014 itself( after the application was sent)

I am currently living in USA --got PCC in July, 2014.

Are these PCC's valid? I read in CIC that they must have been applied within 3 months of application. I just want to confirm.

May I as you a favor?

So many people are calling CIC to find out their current statuses and eventually some of you are getting through to talk to an agent that could you please also ask them the following question: how do they treat proof of funds (bank certification letters) in foreign currencies in terms of exchange rate fluctuations like what if current rate eats away a part of your amount indicated? Do they reject such applications due to insufficient funds, or do they skip this check and forward it to VO's, or do they request an updated PoF? Please PM me if you figure this out, I'd be really thankful.

In you bank letter, if it mentions CAD equivalent for your local currency on that day, then its okay I guess. Not to worry!

My file was received on july 8th....
credit card was charged on october 24th....
I have been expecting PER within 10 days but its already been 14 days...ca u please lemme know wot r th maximum days for PER?
Bit worried....wot r the other possibilities?

@ diplomatru, why do you think applications with NOC starting 0, takes longer time, my CC was charged on 29th, still no PER, really begin to get anxious.

Noc's starting with 0 are HR, senior management or higher. Hence more stringent checks are required.

Finally after long waiting got the golden mail of MR and RPRF.


Have a question, I didn't provide PCC in the original application and NDVO hasn't asked for one in the MR and RPRF mail. Anything like this has happened to anyone?

Wish you good luck for medicals and rest of the process. I think you should start working towards pcc even if NDVO has not asked for it. You may be asked to submit it at later stage then you would have it ready with you.

Is it really required from 3 different cities ? Because as far as i know only one PCC is valid for India.
I have also stayed in Mumbai for 2.5 years from 2007 till 2010. Can you please let me know how did u get the PCC
can we get it by sitting in Delhi or do we need to go there ?
