Hi All/Seniors,

Please advice me on the following questions.

My application for FSW-2014 reached CIC on 22nd August 14.

Noc : 2173, No information so far.

Hopefully, will get update by Dec second week if I am not wrong.

I am planning to travel to US in FEB-MARCH time frame. If I travel, I have following questions.

When can I expect MR and PCC request Maximum ? If I get request during or after my travel, do I need to get PCC from FBI (US) ?

Can I and my wife can submit MR from different places ? Me from US and my wife from India.

Also, if I get PPR during my travel, would NDVO allows for extension as I cannot send if I am in US ?

If an applicant has reached the PER stage, does it mean that all background checks have been completed? Does getting the PER mean that dependant upon MR results, the applicant is good to proceed, or is there still a scope for denial at a later stage?

PER is issued after successful completion and eligibility checks. Background, criminality, health checkups are done at local visa office after your file is transferred.

Unless PPR is issued there are possible chances of rejection basis above checks results.

How to contact NDVO? Anyemail id? and can we use the online CSE inquiry for the same? also, can we update them by sending hard copy of the documents thru courier?

I hv received PER on 22.10.14, app date 26.06.14. There is an addition of a family member (my son-now 2 months old).
How to intimate CIC authorities?
Do i need to inform NDVO? If yes, how to reach them (via what medium)
PER mail received from CIC clearly mentions not to send any information unless and until asked for.

Send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca . Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your application package.

I have been reading mixed comments, just want to ask which of the following documents need to be "CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES" and which should be "JUST COPIES":

1. Copies of Passports (in English)
2. Copy of Work Experience Letter from the Employer (in English)
3. Copies of Foreign Educational Credentials (In English) (accompanied by original ECA from WES)
4. Copies of documents from Relative in Canada (passport, Tax, bill, bank statement, etc) (In English)
5. Bank Certification Letter (In English)
6. Identity & Civil Status Documents (Bilingual, one of them is English)
7. Children info (BCs, bilingual on of them is English)
8. PCC (English)

Congratulations on getting MR and arrival news of new family member, Yes, please tell them about the news via mail and they will put ur file on hold for the time being. Its imp that you don't get her medicals done at this stage as it can harm the fetus. God bless the new one

You know why my life is so wonderful and why I have no reason to go to Canada or anywhere else? Here it is:

Every morning, when I open my e-mail inbox, I find:

I have receive an email from 10 job companies offering the best jobs to me, as soon as I apply.

Email from someone telling me I have won £10,000,000 and some other guy offering to transfer $500,000 in to my account for unknown reasons.

Email from at least 5 banks offering me easy loans.

Email from Dr. Expert claiming that he will cure my hair fall & greying for cheap.

5 matrimonial sites have most suited matches for me.

3 pharmacies offering me their break thru anti-aging medicine for free

3 universities are giving me degrees in random subjects.

In addition, I get about 100 mails from hot girls named Janice, Angelina, Fatima & Priya who are feeling lonely and want to meet me.

What else can one ask for in my life...? 8) ;D

How I will get my ECAS or UCI as I had sent the form by Courier and I only have the Delivery report of Courier Company. My application was received on 21st July as per courier company delivery report.

Guys!!

I had done my medicals on 18th October in Bangalore(NDVO). It has been 2 weeks now but my ECAS status is not updated to say "Medicals Received". Is there anybody who is in the same situation. I have seen the spread sheet but the ECAS status is not updated to reflect current status I believe. Can seniors throw some light?
