any idea where HR job market is good ? I have no relatives / friends in Canada please advise which city to choose specially keeping in mind the job opportunity vs cost of living?

Toronto is the place where you will find maximum opportunities for HR profession, also Montreal may follow, but i think toronto would be more offering...

If you have the link you can update with the same link, else make a new entry and leave a comment at then for admin to delete earlier entry.

Did you correlate your job details with NOC descriptions?
You can share part of your letters and let seniors on the forum debug for you

One more question my refusal letter states "letter of employment did not clearly give evidence showing that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement", what could this exactly mean? Does it mean that they do not believe that i have performed the duties given in the reference letter? If yes, why would they doubt if the reference letter has been signed & stamped by my employer.

Any advise on this.

i am apply for FSW under the physiotherapy i have all the years of experiences for the requirements and i once worked as a personal assistance to a pilot for a year immediately i got out of school, my problem now is that i have search for the NOC code and there is nothing like that, do I still fill it as part of my work experience without the code? or do i leave out of my work experience in the economic classes form.

please anybody with any info should please help me

You need not to find any noc if you are not claiming points for any job, only minimum documentaion is required to cover the gap.

You need to have proper noc and reference letter for the job you are claiming points for.

Does anyone know why there is no update about the number of received applications since 10.10.2014 ?

There are only guesses..some serious and some funny.

1. CIC officer went on holiday.
2. CIC made obvious error in making 2174 capped to 1000...but actually "yet" to hit that.
3. CIC planning to reduce gap between completeness check and PER and be more accurate with the published numbers as many NOC are nearing the cap limit.
4. CIC fired the officer and no body ready to take up ...after the 2174 ad-hoc cap announcement.

No idea dear. Even one of my friend is having the same case like yours.
He is also 9th May applicant. His 2nd line updated way back on 18th Sept. Still waiting for MR.
No verification found at job place for him.

You can send email to NDVO with the subject line: "Urgent: 9th May applicant, no update for MR" and provide all your application detail such as file number, personal detail etc.

I am a Finance Professional and is interested to know what is the best city in term of Jobs for finance professionals.

I opted Missisagua in my FSW application, Is it OK? And do i need to study further in Canada to get the Job. I am member of ACCA.

Thank trk1 for ur reply. Thats what i did and below is the response i got from their side:

"Please be advised that our office has not received the document(s) referred to in your message below.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process documents and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing."

Seems they have not processed by child app yet. I think i need to wait for a week or 2. Let me know if u think otherwise..

Please send a email to the VO with the scan of the documents and subject line "URGENT! - MR query related to my new born baby". Ensure the mail is polite enough for the officer to go and fish the document out. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DAll the best!

Seniors, am June 24th (2133 NOC) applicant... DD still outstanding...
Application hasnt returned yet. - Thats the only good part
no update from CIC, got UCI number; but doesnt show any status.. called twice on call center but agent doesnt provide any update..
Sent CSE at 16th Oct - believe have to wait..
points are 76 as per my calculations..

any thoughts or suggestions. am sure there are no mistakes in my application....
