I have created FD of Rs. 9.00L in federal bank India.
PER received on 28th Oct 14
Now question is that when I can liquidet my FD ?
After visa issued or after landing?
We hav to show any POF to immigrants officer at the time of landing in Canada?

Does CIC consider work experience which was paid on cash in India .? Yes,it is acceptable provided it is a full time job with at least 30 hrs per week.

Hello,

I applied on may 22,2014...
The problem was demand draft.which was valid for only 3 months.

Demand draft date - 6th may..so it must have expired by 6th august,2014.

SO, by the time they checked my file, it is no longer valid.

So is it possible to submit the demand draft again or will I get my application back?

YES CIC consider cash in hand .
Just add you salary slips on company letter head.
and attach a salary document stating that you have been paid cash in hand.

YES CIC consider cash in hand .
Just add you salary slips on company letter head.
and attach a salary document stating that you have been paid cash in hand.

I dont have salary slips but can get the salary document from the employer my income was less than 1.5 lacs yearly hence i wasnt liable to pay tax.. could you please suggest any other supporting document.? I have a offer letter which states my salary would be paid on cash .

Have you been refused entry, immigrant or permanent visa, tourist visa to canada?

Did you answer Yes or No?

This means only if your application in past for any of the category has been rejected on any grounds by CIC, then you need to mention YES in the column....Hope this clears your doubts....

Good news and a query:

Hi fellow forum members, I would like to share with you all that I received a request from CPC-O on 10-31 to submit medicals, PCC & RPRF fee.
App received date: 28-May-2014
Visa office: CPC-O
PER: 22-Sep-2014
Medical, PCC & RPRF request: 31-Oct

I had chosen CPC-O as my Immigration Office because I was residing in USA and was lawfully admitted to USA for at least one (1) year.

I have recently returned to India and would have to change my address to India address (unless I get another US assignment).

My questions are:
1) If my residential address is changed to India address at this stage, will my file get transferred to NDVO or will CPC-O continue to process it? I am ready to give mailing address of Canada if that helps to keep my file in CPC-O.
2) I am hoping to get another US assignment by December. So, should I wait for a few days and if I manage to go back to US, then directly change my address to new US address? I have been given 60 days by CPC-O to submit medicals, PCC & RPRF fee.
3) How much delay will it cause if my file gets transferred to NDVO?

I would advise proceeding with option 2.
