Hello just trying to better.understand the process
What is the estimated time between checking the Submited document n chargin of the Cc.

My app was received on 10 July no Cc charged yet. Just trying to guess at what stage my application is at.

Yes, dear. Completness check for July applicants must have been finished because there are one or two cases of rejections reported in this forum for August applicants, and I think CIO is speeding the process of checking the completness of the received applications. I think there will be no wonder if we hear that they start checking September applications (I mean stage one only ) soon. another expectation is that the coming cap update will be based on completness check, so it may include all August applicants, so we may witness a giant leap in numbers, maybe 3000 or 4000 other received applications, but this is just my intution, and we have to wait and see what is gonna happen.

I guess what it means is it is encashable at Nova Scotia.

Because they have HDFC in Canada and they would want a provincial bank Branch to encash it.

In this case it would be difficult to track it but talk to your Branch who issued you the draft.

Friend how many days do you think the provincial bank to clear the dd

U can consider paying the fee on her behalf i think its less than $200

Well i think recently expired passport will do, not everyone renews the passport before or right after expiry but u also need to provide other info which shows her presence inside Canada such as recent CC bills, Tax returns, paid Utility bills etc etc

In my case my DD was from TD bank. So my PER says 27th Aug and bank said 28th. So in one day it was encashed.

Hdfc dd which was made here in India. Looks like they have a tie up with nova scotia. I see that name printed on Dd. It looks like all hdfc Canada dds are printed nova scotia Nam.

Anyone got a per with this dd if so how many days it took for encashment and second was that valid even after 3 months

How many days do they take to encash the dd
