Hi Ashif / Kollins,

I have a question. I have already applied for 2174 and my application reached on 5 May 2014.

I want to know the approximate number of months after which I can expect the AOR, CC Charged and PER.

And, my most important question. When I will be asked to give PCC? I mean after how many months. I am asking this because I have lived in US for more than 6 months and to get the US PCC through FBI, it used to take 2-4 months till last year. And, as per my knowledge, when the VO asks for PCC, I guess he gives us a specified amount of time to provide the PCC. Please reply.
All things been equal and assuming the worst happen with reference to high turnout of applicants,You should get your CC/DD charged within 8-10 weeks afterwhich you can raise a request to know what happen to your application.
Once your CC/DD is charged,it takes approximately/averagely between 3days and 20days to get your PERS.Your AOR follows after PERS too and may be within one month.
Your PCC will surely be asked anytime after your AOR.I will advise you to initiate the process of getting your US PCC immediately after your PERS/AOR as it make take long time to accomplish it.
Apply for it immediately after your PERS/AOR.
Cheers!

qus regarding work experience.
I am working in my current place for 3 year 8 months. Previously i have worked in a different organization in same position for 9 month. my experience goes in same noc and i want to claim point adjustin both organizations (4 years as same occupation in both firm).
What are the documents i have to provide for the first job? As i left the job long back i have appointment and release letter only.
Please help! :-(

Hi seniors, any guesses as to when cc/dd s will get charged this yr.if anyone has a recollection of when it started happening last year ,it might bring peace to a number of anxious minds.
If we take into consideration the first applicant whose CC/DD was charged in the form last year for FSW2013 applicants,It took 41 days between application received and CC charge. The applicants application was received in CIC on the 8th of may,2013 and got CC charged on the 18th June,2013.He got his PERS on the 26th June,2013.
Meanwhile,do not use last year to judge this year as there are so many variable factors that can affect.
I'm sure you can make your inferences from the timeline I just gave you.
Cheers!

Yes....you've got to believe it.
if you doubt yourself....then you are already a failure.
Bring out every og your positive adrenaline strength and go for it....its not how far but how well its done.
Most people that even submitted early are already regretting because of the errors they made which may be against time......and you are luck!....you've got enough time to learn from their mistakes.
Hurry up buddy and PUSH!

seniors,

I saw some of you calculate your IELTS points in the way which is different from mine. Please refer the link below. My understanding is that you will receive CLB 8 unless each of your Listening, Reading, Writing AND Speaking are equal or over 7.5, 6.5, 6.5, 6.5. If one of the four falls under the point 6.5, then you will not receive CLB 8.
It relates to the self point then for FSW immigration, so then your language points is 5, 5, 5, 5 (25 in total). So there is no such way like Listening CLB 8, Reading CLB 9, .....

Am I correct?

You need to provide reference letter.Go back to your employer and get the reference point stating your duties and the duration you worked with them....and follow all the details that is needed in it as stipulated in the checklist.Include your payslips and employment letter if available.....the reference letter is meant to be on the company's letterhead paper.......Do the same for your current Job also and you will surely get your points for 4 years.
Cheers!

its not game over....its just the beginning for you.
Evaluate your bsc degree using www.wes.org and get your reference letter for your interested NOC in the specified format on the document checklist.
My academic back ground is Civil engineer but i applied under Geophysicist based on my work experience,I'm already deemed qualified so you can do it.
Start immediately.

Hey Jango1, mine was not the problem of resume, I incorrectly mentioned some date in cv. Here is the background:

Hi Seniors,

PLEASE HELP ON BELOW QUERY:

All the "month & year" of my work durations from my previous company matches that on the forms what i have mentioned, with the original appointment dates. Just that i have submiited the resume as well & in the resume i mentioned in my first company (from April '08 to July '08) while on forms & my letters and everywhere its (April '08 to Aug '08). Just the resume and that to my first company for which i am not claiming any points.

Do you think they care about the resume that much? I think more important is my "current company's" experience letter, its dates on forms, on experience letter, on my company appointment letters details should match the forms.

Do you think it would impact my application? m worried now PLZ help.

Please refer to this links to get clarified.
Listening of 7.5 bands is 5 points
Reading of 6.5 band is 5 points
Writing of 6.5 band is 5 points
Speaking of 6.5 band is 5 points
Total equals 20 points and not 25 points.
Cheers!
