Hi -

Can anyone share their experience with Indian PCC from PSK where police verification is required? I applied today and they sent it to SP office for verification. They are saying it will take 7 to 10 days for verification, and I am traveling to the US next week

Anyone tried getting PCC from SP/ DSP/ Commissioner/ ACP/ DCP office? Pls share who you approached and how you got it.

Hi everyone . I am gonna file on 1st week of November . I have a doubt about money. 125,000 amount I deposited as cash.. But rest of amount is either by transfer from other account or UAE exchange. Is there any problem with 125,000. As they said if all of sudden u have huge amount in account they would enquire,, can anyone help me out .?

Attach Bank Certification letter along with your application instead of Bank Statement. Bank statement is optional.

do you have the spouse name updated in the passport?? If not then it will be an issue in getting the PCC from PSK as they will ask to get the spouse name updated.

I am expecting medical request in the upcoming week. But I have a serious doubt. PLEASE HELP!

My husband's passport expires in sept 2015.

Do we need to renew the passport before medical or after medicals and before passport request?

And what if we do not renew? We are going insane as we have to submit docs in 45 days of request.

Help will be appriciated!

I applied online passport website....fille dup the form and took out a copy....then visited to nearest PSK...during walk in hours....9.30 am to 11am...after moving from 1-3 desks ....i finally got my PCC same day within an hour..........thatssss it!!!!

The SLA is to issue it within 7 days but you generally receive passport in 3-4 days

Once you get Medical request, send the updated passport copies along with other documents.

How much time does the tatkal seva takes? And how do I inform NDVO about updated passport after medical request?

Guys my application returned stating that there is no proof of DOB for my spouse

I have added her Passport and Matric certificate...What i was missing ..


I am from NOC 2171....Can i send package again with the required document..if yes, do i need to send letter as well which is stating the reason.

I have applied through a lawyer in Canada and they advised me to prepare an notorised affidavit for me and my wife which should carry - full name, date of birth, place of birth (city), both parents name and the declaration that I do not possess original birth certificate with all the above details. I am from Mumbai and this is what we submitted. Lawyer guided me that if the BC does not have above details, it is generally not accepted.

Is it necessary to mention working hours on experience letter from current employer as well as previous employers ?
