I have a silly confusion regarding Proof of funds.

in my application I have applied for myself, my wife and my 6 months baby.
how much funds should I need to show in my accounts.

will it be for 2 members(since my child is below 18 years) or for 3 members?

Please advice.

Update on CIC activities
Currently,CIC is working on completeness checks on August applications
and charging & PER issuing on the previous months.
This could be one of the reasons we are not getting update for now.
They are clearing heap of applications received.

This a nice piece of information ksa...its really encouraging coz i am aug. 1st applicant..

Anybody know Then after PER and medical where i can submit landing fees? After landing in canada or after medical or after visa?

There is no such thing as Landing fee.

Rights for Permanent Residence fee is paid when requested from CIC. This year in most of the case they are sent with MR email. You have pay it after or before Medical other wise if it stand outstanding they wont issue Visa.

My application received on 03 Oct. NOC 2132 (mechanical Engineers). will i be in CAP? i have borrowed money to show funds in my account and returned some amount. when they will check funds status? is it required to keep money in our account from the date of submission of application?
Please advise me..

You may be asked to submit bank statement's by the Visa Office along with MR request. If they see large amounts of deposit or withdrawals than it might create problem. One of my friend who applied through consultant got a request for an updated proof of funds along with MR request. They specifically mentioned to send last 6 months account history. I prefer you not to withdraw all the money at once. Try to maintain at least 80 percent of the required funds to be on safe side. If you deposited large amount during these period you need to send them an explanation for the same. Thanks and Good luck.

Sorry to hear that. Mine was received may 14. No update yet, no ecas status, cannot determine if dd encashed. Anyone knows the probability

Just realized the reason for improved performance of LVO

LVO Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
NDVO Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4: 30 pm (NDVO guys work 1 hr less every day compared to LVO)

REPOSTING

Yesterday i received my PER and I have few questions over here for the upcoming process:

Now my passport does not have a surname and i was thinking of updating it by properly having a surname and a first name. Also the passport has been issued about 7 years ago and my appearance has also changed a lot.

So my Questions are

• Is it ok to update the passport now with the latest name and appearance? Will i need to send updated forms to the VO if i change the passport details
• How much delay will it cause in my application
• Also if i don't update the passport is there any possible problems which i will face with the missing surname and minor change in appearance?
