I dont know about port of entry in Canada. But i would like to share an experience of a lady from South-Asian ethnicity. This happened while i was in travelling to Canada and had a 3 hour halt at Switzerland. While entering into plane from swiss to toronto we had a check of our immigration docs by officers (non-immigration i suppose). There was this lady who was checking our documents and a guy in front of me was questioned by her.
She asked what is the purpose of ur visit?
The guy said I am a PR of Canada.
She said Ok but what is the purpose?
He said I am PR what else would be the purpose. I am immigrating.
I know ur immigrating but what would u want to do there?

I was laughing in my mind the whole time. I mean travel, study and permit guys were easily going thru and this PR guy was asked baseless questions.

I mean the lady was trying to be arrogant. I knew she didnt knew much about FSWP or PR.

LOL, I wonder if someone said - "Drink, Dance and Late Night parties in Toronto clubs is the purpose of my trip unless I find a job soon after landing!"

More than 70 Million ppl in India can read this, who follow Urdu language which has Arabic script. However very few can understand it completely. Btw, we understand few words like الهنود and الكلام .

Thanks for the valuable info. By the way, the two words you mentioned are the only standard Arabic words in the sentence. The rest of the words are purely Egyptian slang, which means that you have actually recognized 100% of the real Arabic in the sentence

But again do CIC itself do scrutiny for type of account of another country? How could they get the type of amount saved in a bank of some other nation, I mean do they have that type of information? Or this is left as a job for NDVO to do after PER?

It's very silly to discuss this topic on this forum any further. Anyone who is not genuinely interested in Canada shouldn't spend that much time on this thread worrying about their application every day. If life is so great in the UK, why not enjoy your achievements at present and if you have no intention of immigrating to Canada, why would you take up the spot that could be a blessing for someone else. We don't need to know how great your life is in the UK, because we are all here for the same reason to have a better life in Canada. Cheers!!!

If we know English and French our chances of getting Jobs in Canada increases 20 fold... So we shd give French as an option, which will help us in getting a start in French.

Is been 5 years i am trying more than desperately... got rejected twice and once couldn't make it.... so filing 4th time ..... one thing very true whether we believe it or not " God Knows Best" and whatever happens happens for good. ...
