DD encashed: 20th October (as per cic's mail)
PER received: 29th October
Visa office: New Delhi

Out of 5 yrs u have to be in Canada for 2 years for that

Disclaimer : not sure

One has to be in Canada for 2 years to renew PR status and 4 years to be eligible for Citizenship in the 5 years validity of PR.

If possible get your spouse's passport renewed and update them about changes at the time you get MR email or if you want you can even inform them about changes before MR email.

Thanks Goku for your valuable advice.Sorry to ask you again there is any problem to use both email and courier to send same forms. If you don't mind please tell me the Email id Of NDVO.

One more doubt,Still i dint get processing started or MR message from NDVO after PER(i am a May 2nd applicant).I have already took PCC of me and my wife (before 3 months)that i did not submit at the time application to CIO .There is any problem to send PCC along with updated forms with out PCC request from NDVO.

Yes, if you wished to send you PCC along with it you can surely send it. But you can email it, you will have to send original PCC.

You know what, when I came over to the UK about 4 years ago, I was thinking exactly the same. I visited all of my favorite restaurants and met all relatives.

While I still miss some of my fav Mumbai restaurants, family members, friends and some of the festivals. After few months in London, I figured that it was not really as bad as I thought. In fact I used to eat a lot of Chinese, Italian and American (fast food) in India, here I am eating more Indian food than I used to eat it back home in India. Plus I have been able to visit family few times a year, also every year few relatives are visiting me so it's not always as different environment on the other side of the sea as one might imagine before visiting. So don't worry!

Disclaimer: It could be a London specific thing only! Canadian cities may differ.

Agreed, but desi food taste is always better back home, unfortunately - Even though you surely can nourish on quality desi food abroad too but that taste does differ I have a flat in London where my bro resides now (Kennington- London) n we visit almost every year, but surely do miss relatives n desi food still

1-Any other applicant from 23rd June or before who has not yet received his/her PER though CC/DD got realized/encashed?

2- Is it true that in some cases the PER email gets lost/misplaced and PER is received through normal post (as hard copy)?

1. Many applicants still remaining.
2. Yes, email PER might get lost, mainly due to the mistake of the applicant. (mail might accidentally get deleted, Mailbox might be full, Mail goes to SPM folder, etc, etc.)
