Dear seniors and experts,

I am into the worst circumstances of my life. Today i called indusind bqnk regarding my DD status and i came to know qbout other bad news which is according to them my DD which was made in june mid has already expired as it was valid for 3 months only.Now i am aware of the fact tat it is too late to react as i was under an impresion tat all Cheques and DD are by default valid fr 6 months. What sd i do now?:'(

International DD is valid for 6 months, I got mine from Icici bank.. No problem even if they say the same. I have even got same confirmation from Bank Of Montreal.. Do need not worry..

I have UCI and have been checking ECAS every half an hr, today when i opened the page, a msg popped up "Don't u have any thing else to do???"

What does that mean???? and what shud i answer????

Start checking the same every 15 minutes they will probably understand your desperation and hand over your PR straight waiving the rest of the procedure off

Ensure Father's name and DOB are displayed on the marks card...

Hi Seniors,

Request another small help... I am re-filling my forms as my previous app which i sent on 29-May was returned to me due to MISSING COPY OF SPOUSE BC.

Is there any space where I need to specify this? That I have applied in FSW-2014 and this is my second attempt?

I see a question in the Schedule A Background declaration form:

Q6. Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application ever:
d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de selection du Qubec (CSQ) or application to the provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any country?

Do i need to tick on Yes or No for this question?

Dude in my limited knowledge it is not refusal it was a rejection due to technical problem. So you should mark No for this.

Hi,

I need an advice.

My details are as follows:-
NOC 2171
App date - 30th June
CC Charged - 16th Oct
PER - 27th Oct
NDVO

I currently live in South Africa and will be in India between 16th Dec and 15th Jan 2015 for holidays. As my PER date is 27th Oct based on stats I'm expecting my MR to be close to end of Dec which is fine as I will be in India but when they request for passport I will be back in SA by then. I'm now confused if I should be changing my VO from New Delhi to Pretoria and do my MR from SA or retain it as NDVO?

Any suggestions?

Also, include a letter of explanation indicating that your birth was not registered...Affidavit is optional, although I have seen many people recommending this on the forum. As per the CIC requirement, secondary school certificates are acceptable in lieu of BC, no mention of Affidavit. LETS POSE THIS TO THE LARGER GROUP: CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM IF 10TH MARKS CARD HAS BEEN ACCEPTED WITHOUT AFFIDAVIT.

I am 12th June applicant from UAE.

Received PER on 8th Oct 2014.

I sent a query to London Visa Office on Oct 15. I got reply of that query on Oct 24. In their reply they mentioned that my application is not in process with them so i should contact the office where my application was sent (sydney NS office).

What does this mean. as per PER mail for further communication i should contact with my VO.

Is PA Changes Company what documents has to sent to NDVO as my Consultant has sent out our Resignation Acceptance Letter and Offer Letter to NDVo with a Cover Letter so are these docs sufficient?
