It varies widely from one application to another. Some are obvious, some require more examination.

Im a July 9 App, how many days should i need to wait? Any estimates?

Right. Bank has no incentive in telling lies. Asit is DD is a prepaid instrument. So bank has already got the money on Day 0. Why will bank tell lies ?

Not deliberately trying to calm my nerves but being an LVO applicant, i see there are approximately 45 applicants from 1st May till my application received date at CIO i.e. 16th May who have received PER but awaiting further communication from LVO

So i guess i need to wait for quite a while before i can get some sort of update from LVO.

Hello Forum Mates,
Hope this post of mine will be helpful for at least few of those who are tensed for Interview at NDVO.
I got my interview scheduled for 20th October 2014 morning. I was so nervous that I wasn't even sure if I should go for the interview.

But I have to be there so, I was there on time 30mins before the scheduled time. The security check takes around 15 – 20 mins since it depends on the number of applicants who are scheduled for the same time.
I gave my letter at the reception and the lady there asked me to wait for your name to be called.

After 15 Minutes an announcement was made for me to come to a room number (X). I went there and there, the Visa Officer on the other side of the mirror glass was ready with my application on the desk.
She asked me to close the door and make myself comfortable. She then asked me in which language I would like to take the interview. (For me it was English)

She then told me about the purpose of the interview (For me she said “This is to know you better”)
She then started with my qualification. I started from my schooling, where she stopped me and asked me to start from Graduation. I told her about my graduation and then masters. Then she asked me show my original certificates of graduation and master's degree.

After that she started with the experience and employment details. She started asking me the questions based on NOC duties. She wanted to get the information as to what do I actually do in my organization.
She started with my 1st Organization and then 2nd. Everything was to understand if I am actually what I have mentioned on the letters.

With the conversations in place she was asking all my originals as to my employment letters and experience certificates and promotions letters one by one as we moved ahead in our discussion.
In the end she was making me convinced (Kind of Strange) as to if I am not a Financial Analyst Rather I am an Investment Analyst (Which I agreed too).

She then asked me if I have something to ask or say.

Here I told her about the change in my form and she asked me to provide the updated forms. I gave her the forms. She then asked me provide the PCC if I already have one. (I Did so I handed over the same)
There after she said we will email you further details.

Interview Ended. (Lasted for around 1 hour)

On 21st October I received my MR Request.

Also, one thing that I would like to share... There are many people getting interview call letters, so don't think so much on the same. Just be ready with all the originals and everything that you think they can ask. Anything missing can lead to negative and might impact.
Interview is a normal process so don't be tensed

I am applying under NOC 2172. Have couple of questions, please help in clarifying below questions

1) I have total of 12 years in one company and worked in India / US and currently in canada. Since my company has denied giving experience letter, planning to get reference letter from colleagues on company letter head. Since i worked in India/US/ Canada, should i get reference letter from each region for those period or one reference letter should be good enough. Reference letter required for all jobs you are claiming points for. If it is the same company you have worked across all locations then even one detailed reference letter stating your jds and time in each position.
2) While getting reference letters if i mention company designation, is it fine or should i mention title according to NOC code job duties. You should write your actual designation/job title. Try to get the reference letter in line with the job duties mentioned in NOC yoi are applying in. It should covers the lead statement of the NOC.
3) Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application? As i am in Canada currently with less than 1 year, should i write as INDIA or leave it blank as per guide lines in CIC website. It should be CPC O but still check with experts
3) In Current Occupation, if i write designation as in Company, is that ok. Or should i write the one mentioned on Work permit as Software Engineer which is very generic. Your actual designation which will be mentioned in your reference letter.
4) In Intended Occupation, if i write title as per NOC code or should i write NOC code itself. Write as per the NOC (not noc code)
5) As i had worked in different positions, my Job duties fall under 2172/ 2173/ 2174. Should i mention one NOC code in Schedule 3 Economic class form or need to list each seperately. (Under NOC 2172 i have worked for 8 Years). If you are not claiming points for other employements besides 2172, then thise are not important to be mentioned in schedule 3 form. With 2172 only you get maximum points.
6) In Schedule 3- Economic Classes form, for question 3a. Do you have an offer of Employment in Canada? For this i have mentioned as NO, though i am working in Canada as my company has deputed me here on Temporary basis (IntraCompany Transfer). Still need to check with experts.
