Can I request you to please make your signature font smaller? It's way too big and distracting. Thanks!future_canadian said:No... so I should say you must have been legally admitted for one year and currently be residing there. The "where to apply" page clearly gives you a choice of country of citizenship or country of residence, not former countries of residence.
I agree it may not be convenient to choose a VO if you will not remain in that country very long, but if you've been there for at least a year I believe you can do so.
Thank you!!! My mind is at ease.jpn said:
No, there won't be any problem. It is not mandatory to be in same profession at the time of application. You need to have worked for 1 year+ in last 10 years in your NOC. Declare everything in working timeline and you will be fine. Best of Luck.
olivus said:No. He does not need to continue to work within NOC 4011. However, he need to submit with the application all past reference letters (as professor) describing the duties matching with NOC 4011. That's it.. Good luck to you and regards to master chef
No there will be no problem as you meet the minimum requirement of having 1+year work experience in last 10 years and there is no compulsion to stick in same profession...canada2319 said:Hope all are having a good day!!!
My husband NOC 4011 (university professor) works both has chef and as university professor, in fact he is a culinary arts professor at university. There is the possibility that he has to move to another city because he got a great job offer as a chef, probably having to leave his teaching at university until January when he will apply to work at university in that city. He will leave before application is send.
Will there be a cause of rejection if he applies for NOC 4011 on December and by that time he wont be working as professor?
Do you have to be working in the occupation of the NOC you are applying for?
