+1 for you, for having superb brain at the age of 24.mjamal14 said:This is why I feel going to a new country is advisable when you are young with not much to loose. If you go with kids expecting everything from the start as with the family above its not unusual for this to happen to them. Especially with construction field, I've seen/heard civil engineers with 10s of years of exp in gulf work as construction workers in Canada. I'm not that familiar with the teaching profession.
I turned 24 this august, and being in a field like IT I don't have much to loose. If I require a fresh start from scratch, I would be losing a couple of years I worked after graduation.I can also get some Canadian qualification and work odd jobs in the meantime, with not a lot of pressure like maintaining a family etc. Canadian qualification and local work experience are the two most important factors as anyone will tell you.
Immigration is a risk, and the younger and more responsibility free you are, the easier it is to pace yourself and find your own place in the new land/workplace.
Thank you for being rude again. Makes one really appreciate some other members of this forum. Even Oscar7 - at least he's fun when he's doing it Also, thank you for the link, I've read it already, it wasn't any help.Diplomatru said:Unfortunately, every day same generic questions are posted, because many people don't want to do a little research on their own, so I guess it won't help, but anyway, let's get down to business:

Don't be worry, I just got my package back and they added some notifications regarding the work experience. Seems this is generic because it happens with other members. It will be better to double check and seek advises reg the ref letter however.Rabail said:Hi all,
I received back my documents on 17th October and the reason was the wrong payment method (which I realised after sending my application) and they also highlighted the work responsibilities part, which I am not sure why happened because I followed the standard template including my job responsibilities according to the NOC description, number of hours, start and joining date etc.
The weird thing is that the rejection letter which I received was dated 13th August and it reached on 17th October (so late, right?)
Now I am thinking to apply again but I need to know how old documents can I use? Can I use a bank statement from August and same old documents which I sent in May??
I wasn't refering to your case as it's not a generic question. Thank you for -1 though, it has enriched my collection of feedback from easily offended peopleLittleOwl said:Thank you for being rude again. If you don't have other ref. letters to claim points for you'll get 11 points.rebell said:Dear Seniors,
I have a question regarding the duration of work experience letter and it's points ... My experience letter says that I worked from 1st september 2012 to till date, 1st October 2014. Which is equal to 2 years and 1 month. How many points will I get ? I guess between 2-3 years experience .. right ? which is equal to 11 points . Clarify me if I am wrong.
Congrats.joolagabriel said:Hello All,
