but should i wait my first application to be returned or it's normal to send two application at the same time? is there any conflict? there's no conflict. an applicant here got per for two apps under different noc
and can i send it without PCC? yes, you can

Dear Forum member who are CPC-Ottawa applicant

I am trying to figure out why this local visa office stopped issues MR for applicants and I think FBI records delays is the the main reason. Because most MR gives 60 days and this visa office does not want to get in a situation where it cannot simply extend this period of time( 60 days) for ALL their applicants who cannot held accountable for this delay. SO, the better solution is hold off MR for now until FBI fix their system. This my thought of our sucks situation with CPC-Ottawa. This only my thought

I doubt that. There are a lot of domestic applicants who don't need FBI clearence at all.

They use to update it every monday but seems to get slow with time..

Are you referring to applicant who are residing in US? if so, everyone has to provide a FBI record to CPC-Ottawa because the applicant cannot choose CPC-Ottawa unless he has been legally admitted to US for at least a year ( according to CIC) so the applicant needs FBI report because he is already pass 6 months in US( everyone who lived in any country more than 6 months has to provide police certificate for that country).

I have a question

i'm 30th July applicant Noc 2174 and i didn't receive rejection but it reached the CAP .. can i send another file NOC 2172 with some changes in the letter of reference??

It depends on the changes if they are minor, no problem ... but you have to do that ASAP so you can catch the train ...

Another forumite had the same guess but I doubt it.
I have seen cases where VO increased the deadline for PCC clearance when they were notified that FBI is taking 10 - 12 weeks to process background check applications.
It does suck that Ottawa has not sent MR emails for 3 weeks now

Its true that Mittarpyara had some other concerns on VO, but irrespective of that, go and ask mittarpyara if he is happy or sad. he will definitely be happy as at least he has got his PER. VO change can be requested later. And Ananjay is not a paid consultant that he has to answer each and every query.

Pls lets not comment on others unless they are providing wrong info. Not giving -1 as you have not said anything derogatory.

I am getting the -1s as well, but its fine. I have stopped thinking of +1s and -1s.

Thanks to everyone who contributed in this forum and gave me confidence to file my Application myself. Without this forum & my wife's support, i would have ended up paying the immigration consultant 1.5Lac INR....Penny saved is Penny earned.....And every penny counts for new immigrant aspirants like me....Once again i thank the Allmighty for being there for me and taking care of me.......God give me the strength to build my own destiny in Canada....JAI MATA DI !!!!!!

Hey everybody, just a follow-up on this post.

Purolator found my application today and returned it to my lawyer.

The parcel was in really bad shape.. it was torn in a couple of places and a few elements were destroyed: pictures, money order, PCC... other documents were ok.

Purolator sent a letter apologizing so I guess it really was their fault.

So at least I won't have to do everything from scratch, just a few elements. With any luck I'll have it done by the end of the week.

. How do we know that dd is encashed .. Im 25th june applicant i enquired in bank but they said dd is encashed in 48 hours of the date issued
