How long does it take to receive PCC request from CPC-Ottawa after receiving PER? I received PER on Oct. 8. Since FBI processing time is around three months, should I apply PCC from FBI right away?

I would suggest you to do it ASAP ! FBI is currently processing application for 22nd september!

Buddy!! no one can say for certain how long it would take to process
That being said, I seriously doubt it would take that long to issue MR as CIC would definitely want to clear FSW 2014 before starting the express entry in 2015
Thats my 2 cents
Anyways you can always refer to the SS to see how long it took others to process for MR, that would give you a rough estimate of timelines

Sorry to know that u just missed the NOC2174 caps. Can u provide this info as, this would be of great help.
How did u know that ur app didnt fall within cap? did u get the package back? when? or u came to know by mail.
Also, when we get rejected because of quota full, do we get a UCI number assigned?

With many people getting PER, I wanted to ask about the [size=10pt]next steps after receiving PER[/size]. I know one will get PCC, Medical request but had some specific questions. Can someone please help with information on that?


I wanted to know:

1. After PER, does a person receive separate requests for PCC and Medicals or its just one?
2. What does a person receive as part of the Medical request? I mean do they send you some forms? If yes, what information do they ask on those?
3. How much time does VO provides to complete Medicals?(30 days-45 days??)
4. Do we receive any receipt/documents from the doctor after completing Medicals?
5. What tests are performed in Medicals?
6. Are there any documents that you had to send along with your Medicals?
7. What address do you send your PCC and other Medicals related documents? Does the VO provides you with an address where PCC and other docs needs to be sent?
8. Any advice while waiting for PCC and Medical requests? 

I know I am asking too many questions, but this information will really help most to prepare themself for the next stage

+1 to cheer u up to begin with,.... if you are interested in Canada then I'm sure you can reapply in Express Entry 2015, though many of my friends have decided to abandon Canada and go for Australia. Crux of the whole thing is, "This ain't end of the world Myte" .

I was checking on this info as, i am eligible to apply under 2172 just didnt apply earlier as, i couldnt get jd on letter head.
Now i am thinking of taking a chance but, not sure if i should wait to get the 2174 app back or go for 2172 rightaway.
Plz suggest.

This is so disheartening despite submitting on time for NOC.2174 that 16 July 2014 did not make it.
Never give up please.Prepare yourself for the upcoming EE,SINP & NSNP.

Finally, I got rejected after encashed! CIC assessed 66/67p because the two first letter of reference, no duties listed even they were not in my NOC! So that, my points for experience decreased! So sad! I will take the TEF in November and reapply in December. Hope no cap reached for 5125! Sad! Good luck to other!

Sorry to hear that...

But, its weird that they rejected your file for the reference letters that were not under NOC category... I think you should ask CIC a clarification about this...

Some more info I want to share

In my original application I did not send BCs for me and my wife and my working hours were not mentioned on any of my reference letters.
So I sent

BC for me and my spouse

A revised reference letter from one employer stating my working hours and a full time employee confirmation email from other employer's HR.
For another 3 employers I sent a self declaration affidavit that I was a full time employee and worked.more than 48 hours a week.

These Additional documents were delivered on 16 Sep (when application of mid June were under completeness check)I also sent an email on same day I.e. 16 sep as guided on the forum and sent all scanned docs for their reference. But yet I dont have any official confirmation of the inclusion of those documents. But I believe those are definitely added to my application.

Once again thanks to almighty God and all of you wonderful people on the forum.

I am literally crying could not stop myself from sharing with you so stoped the car and shared.
